So much for Frost coming into the firsts in defence. Very ordinary stats. He doesn't seem to be developing at all.
Did he get injured?? Did anyone see him play??
-
Positive was Stretch, played his role and made smart decisions.

I've heard that Matty Jones actually dislocated a rib. Never heard of that happening before and it sounds bloody painful. He's likely to miss 1-2 more.
Spoke to him yesterday it's actually 3-4 weeks more his out for

He'd be handy. Not a priority for mine
Wouldn't get a game in our midfield....
He looked to lack effort in this game much like a lot of his team mates.

Where is Matt Jones??? Not on injury list and not named in any team.

Who plays of half back this week? Jayden hunts will certainly get more time on the half back which makes up for lebumbas run and carry however hunt has poor decision making. salem decision making will be missed A LOT this week

I'll be extremely [censored] if ANB ends up leaving for lack of opportunity. And then he dominates up in SA.
He hasn't earnt a game yet, simple. His pre season was poor and there is other players in front of him at this stage.

I'm not convinced. Old-style full back, stuck in a rapidly evolving game. Game gone past him?
He will get overtaken by Oscar McDonald by the start of next year IMO.

Not saying he's wrong, just asking for a source or at least a clue...
The source is someone within the club...

Vandenberg had surgery on his ankle this week - out for 8 weeks.
M Jones in doubt for this weeks game (inj).
-
Team looks a bit top heavy to me, 1 to many talls. Where do Pedo & Frost play???

-
Out: Vanders - down on confidence give him a spell at Casey.
In: Garlett
Brayshaw 1 more run with Casey...
-
Bugg Nab challenge was good, his form has been poor in rd 1 & 2 though...
-
Play Tommy Mac up forward with Watts & Hogan.
Drop Pedo.
Frost, Dunn & Garland down back.

It all comes down to effort with MFC, as soon as Tom McDonalds press conference was released on Thursday and he mentioned going 2-0 for the season I knew we were in trouble, got ahead of them selves...
lesson to be learnt.

What are we expecting from Bugg this yr?? His pre season was good but I thought he was a bit down against GWS.
Harmes a bit off also but I have high hopes for him, attitude and effort normally good.
M.Jones played his role very well.

FB: Garland Dunn Jetta

HF: Vanders Hogan Kent
FF: Watts Pedersen Garlett
Foll: Gawn Tyson Viney
Int: Oliver Harmes Bugg Lumumba
Would love to see more of Stretch, Wagner and Hunt to see if they can push for round 1. Just haven't seen enough. At this stage a returning Lumumba gets the nod. And Bugg.
Kennedy v Kent v Harmes v Oliver v a returning Brayshaw remains a battle for a couple of spots
As does Frost v Pedersen
Spot on! Agree totally.
Bugg to play through wing with Grimes / M Jones.
Kennedy / Brayshaw chance for Lumumba spot on bench.
-
Starting wingers at this stage are: M.Jones & Grimes.
They have trained in these positions all summer and are their spots to loose atm.
Goody has put his faith in them and boosted their confidence.
