I tell you what, no excuses regarding wet weather footy next year. I don't think they have had more than a couple of dry sessions yet.
Mullets do their best work in the wet,

Sure he's a great kid, sounds like something you would need a strong ointment for.

I could be wrong but I don't think he has the agility to be a top line mid.
Can develop into one of the best back flanker's in the game though.

The Billings method probably will lead to less scoring opportunities in comparison to other methods.

💯 we have a forward line issue, BBB & Tmac and add Petty can’t be depended on due to injuries, JVR is only young and is inconsistent, our small forwards can struggle to impact, Gawn can’t kick straight and that leaves us Fritsch and Trac.
then we have a system issue were we have unlimited forward line entries to no avail or we mark it on the boundaries. We never seem to get out the back goals like Pies/Lions/Port do as we’re a defensively minded team.if we continue to enter our forward 50 like we have over the past 2 years and we don’t have another tall who can clunk marks and kick goals….. we’ll go out in straight sets again or struggle to make top 4
So which is it?
You forget the goal inaccuracy issue btw..

I'm in the just get him camp.
I have a feeling that whatever is paid will look like a bargain within the next few years.

On a serious note, May's comments are indicative of what is wrong with the MFC at the moment.
Stop complaining, whinging and behaving like spoilt brats.
We are looking like the 2004 Port Adelaide side who should have had a dynasty, but didn't, because they were sooky arrogant frogs.

Broke out in hives, had difficulty breathing with severe nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
Apparently an anaphylactic reaction to a Collingwood premiership.

Probably in the minority here but in terms of the list we don't need anything...
We need a new mindset.
Focus on team footy, humility, belief, not whinging and not doing stupid sh#t.

Yes urgently.
My view is that the psychology of the group has been impacted, and that has come from the top down.
There was a stoicism in 2021 that we seem to have lost.
We will not win the 2023 flag, not because we are not the best side, not because we don't have the best plan. We lost it between the ears.
We have a once in a generation midfield, we should have more than one flag to show for it.

last qtr … Fritsch non contact in marking contest with Quaynor (we called it and commented on it at the time)
“That one when Quaynor went back with the flight, he should have been poleaxed. Quaynor said 'I think Murphy looked after me', no he didn't. Fritsch just didn't want to make contact. That's the difference between going all the way in finals.”
"If I was Goodwin, I'd be showing that on Monday, saying 'if you do that ever again, even if you are our leading goalkicker, you are not playing. Put your body on the line.'" ***Luke Hodge***
I can’t argue. It was poor at the time and not an act of a desperate player.
That's just absolute Bs.
Firstly, Fritsch was not at the contest in time to poleaxe anybody.
Secondly I want Fritsch looking for goalkicking opportunities not poleaxing opportunities.

It’s a terrible headline but a legitimate issue that deserves some focus. I recommend reading the ABC article as linked above that goes in to the specifics.
I hope Daniel is able to get the help he needs.
Surely that headline is something our club might have issue with.

McVee is a natural footballer.
Agility and balance coupled with the ability to make a good decision quickly.
Definitely found one. Absolutely one to watch.

in Melbourne Demons

This was a great game and saw our stars back firing but ffs can we please shelve this one.
It never works, he never holds them and he just ends up out of a contest that he needs to be in.
