I have nothing against trying KFW... but I believe Bradke was showing more when delisted.

Petty is the forward who gave us next to nothing. Can't play him back because McDonald is solid in defence. Ben Brown and Roo played well in the final qtr. Petty goes! Who comes in for HP depends on tomorrow's VFL game. Maybe we do without the third tall forward. I would definitely retain Windsor. I would keep Tholstrop as well, but if Hunter plays, and plays well in VFL, he will come in. Kossie comes back! Woewodin gets full game at VFL.

Time for Tholstrup!

Fullarton was good in parts. Woey probably our best mid. Verall improved a little in second half. Tholstrup and Brown were involved and will improve on their first outing. Tomlinson was our most consistent. Laurie had his moments and certainly wasn’t all bad as some seem to suggest

Isn't this Wilson's modus operandi; give exposure to a half truth then claim to not support it?

Swap Ed and Lever description and I would rate it your most accurate ever!

I note that Grundy came in 35th on the Fantasy Points scoreboard last night. I wonder if we will hear the same sort of media trumpeting we had to endure in round zero!

The midfielder bias in the Brownlow is beyond concerning and its time for a change.
Its not just a Brownlow bias... it permeates every media and 'expert' analysis. It is the way of 'modern' society!

They can't get the decisions on the field right, the job should be with an independant group off the field .
No such group exists!

read my post again i said he was a great chb who became a forward
I believe Neitz was an outstanding FF at our U/19 level and progressed as a forward to the seniors. However we had a gap to fill at CHB and he was moved there for a season (or two).

Disappointing second half. I am always disappointed when blokes who haven't quite made it are given a golden opportunity and don't contribute. I'll name names... Chandler, Spargo and Laurie gave me no reason to want to see them in round 1. I call it every time... May and Lever panic when the ball hits the ground. It hurts to see Grundy take the points. Sparrow was ordinary... no step up there. Windsor had his moments. Howes was safer than a few of our established backs. JVR needs to get clear on the lead. Great to see Oliver have a positive effect, We bow our heads to an opposition that were missing key players but played like winners when we played like a bunch of fumbling novices. Rivers, like Sparrow did not stand up in post Brayshaw football.

Which means absolutely nothing considering the input they both had.
You missed the point

Point of interest; Tomlinson and McDonald have played 22 games together for a 15W to 7L record.

Tomlinson plays we lose. He is that bad. He plays 1 good game out of every ten the rest are rubbish. Haven't given up on T.Mac hopefully he gets a game against Carlton to prove himself. Sick of the rubbish from Tomlinson he's not up to AFL standard.
Someone should tell the selectors that Tomlinson is no good! He's played 177 games of AFL football and apparently "isnt up to AFL standard". In those 177 games he has averaged 15 disposals and 5.5 marks! Perhaps it's your analysis, Werridee, that isn't up to standard!

I thought Benny was very competitive in the big man training drills just before he went to have that knee cleaned up.

Quite likely, and will fit snuggly into the AFL's bizarre narrative that they have everything under control!
