Bailey Laurie with 15 touches and 11 tackles to half time.
11 tackles is a fair effort

So last week Jeffo was never gonna make it, this week he is a marking sensation, this week he was wonky kicking.
Just need to know what his arm size is like😂

Maybe they got the wrong guy coaching... Development last year was stymied with the old brigade on the list taking up development spots. Our list is quiet bare for developing talent.

Dermot kicked four goals with a busted rib in the grand final of 89

Kosi is definitely leaving Melbourne to go somewhere colder and further away from his family. I hear Trent is already packing his bags too 🙄
I have Trent earmarked as a potential future captain

Has a fallout with Nathan Jones. Did not quite realise the hard work required. At least Petracca worked it out early... Talent alone will only take you so far.

Just hope we give Windsor and Howes plenty of games

Well at least we agree that Flower played the corridor often
Which was the thrust of my original argument where I'd prefer it if the boundary line wasn't a friend for Langdon & Hunter
So absolutely knowing how much room you've got as a wingman might lead to using that area and then kicking 'down the line'
And I'm over seeing another inside 50 go boundary side and then get thumped out of bounds by the opposition. As previously discussed, those outcomes often leads to another wasted inside forward foray
Collingwood on the other hand .....
So you see, I explain my position rather than just sounding off at another loss
And you can't change your game plan in a week. We were stuck with that style and didn't have the forwards to carry out our plan (injuries to Brown, T-Mac*, Petty, Melksham, Fritsch**, Brayshaw***)
And just blaming Goodwin is poor analysis. He's not the midfield coach nor is he the forwards coach (last year that was the domain of Yze & Stafford) Nor is Goodwin to blame if the players miss easy shots at goal ... that's on the players
Goodwin is responsible for the game plan and style of play and he's got a bit of work to do. But sacked? With a 16 & 7 record in 2023, that's a fanciful suggestion
*T-Mac on one leg
** Fritsch not fit
***Brayshaw out effected our ability to play Petracca forward
Last time I. Checked Goodwin was the senior coach... His job is to oversee everything. Most clubs would have moved on Stafford by now

Totally crazy talk.
Don't see Jefferson as the crash or bash forward. Needs to work with Fritch and learn his craft as a smart forward. The point is Melbourne has failed to identify big body forwards for the last decade. They have had so many misses it's not funny. Brown proved useful for one year but long term, we have sold the farm in early draft picks.

To be honest, Schace wouldn't get a game on West Coasts list.

To be honest, I thought I would never see a premiership. But a club can fall after success as west coast did. Players get above themselves. We have a bad apple that has undermined the foundation.

If someone had given me the choice at the end of 2020 to have Brown and Tmac on our list for 4 more years but we would get one flag I would've taken it in a heartbeat.
We are talking 2024. Both should have been nudged to the door at the end of last year.

Short of paying them out what would you do? GTBKidding.?
PS Some of your posts are exactly a good title gif your nick name .
You are just old... Both will play 2 games each if lucky and at least we could have recruited someone we could develop. So what if we pay them out. The point is neither will do much anyhow.

Mc Adam will give us a bit of difference but we need Fritch back in 2021 form.

Are we going to have trouble kicking goals this year?
I fear we may be depending too much upon a young Jvr and an injury prone Petty.
Hopefully they will be ok.
Poor list management ...

An extremely worrying sight with 18 days until rd zero.
Brayshaw probably the flu, just petty, McAdam and Spargo regulars in that list. Rest lucky to get a game when fit.

T.Mac is cooked, almost cremated AND was training with defence where he just looked O.K. It must be Shache's time now surely!
Having both tmac and Ben brown on the list together is a list management [censored] up.
