Where is the proof?Freeman is 185, they are old stats. He will be a great pickup!
Those old stats would be from the draft camp which was a couple of weeks ago.

What struck me was the small snippet about Colin Sylvia. I won't say anymore about it but it just speaks volumes of our coach.
Beat me to it. To me he understood Sylvia's decision and was fully supportive of him even though he was a required player.
Players will respect Roos, Roos will respect the players. We will be a completely different side next year.
PS: don't be surprise if Rawlings becomes his successor.. Extra responsibility and a great relationship with our players.

I doo too. He is trying to change that boys culture Malthous left behind.Think Buckley will be a very successful coach - multiple flags. BTW, I note that the OP doesn't suggest that Bucks is a "doomed Malthouse assistant"
They did well in the trade period aswell.

That point came out in the daily reports. I think that it would be a great exercise to repeat, particularly when their is a new coaching regime and a dozen new players to get to know each other and bond as a unit. The big thing that came out in the daily reports was how they backed each other and supported each other to get the training sessions as a team. It is an ideal way to build team spirit before the season proper!
yeah it worked well didn't it.

The playing group look happy enough in this little masterpiece.
And their supporters wonder why everyone else think they are the biggest laughing stock in the country.
Sad individuals they are..

Some key things I thought was interesting:
- Crows went about this poorly
- Paul Roos rang Bernie's parents to make them feel welcome. Something Sando never did. Mum was star struck and dad was on the tractor.
- Is a massive fan of Roos and Viney. Loves watching on the couch and thinks he is a Australian icon in football. Trained at the Swans prior to getting drafted and was a big fan then. Viney was midfield coach the year he won the BnF.
- When talking about the leadership role at the dees, he said at the meeting with us he mentioned that our lack of drive for leaders here, Said a lot of our leaders take a lot of things to heart which I found very interesting. Also mentioned that the Dees said Jones is almost like a boy skipper, where the players get around him and look up to him.. Not surprised!
- Lol I love Taylor Walker! rang Bernie to give him a bit of flack which is great to see. Bit of ''true mates' banter. absolute classic this bloke! Made sure that Bernie had the stubbies cold for when he comes over to watch the Dees.

Is Lucas Cook the biggest of the MFC's recent recruiting blunders?
Just as worse as Luke Molan. At least he was injured majority of the time.Is Lucas Cook the biggest of the MFC's recent recruiting blunders?
Cook just didnt even give a yalp.. btw was it him that was crying at a pre season training day??

If Toumpas handcuffs himself to Daniel Cross all Pre Season and follow every move he makes the kid will be a star.
Nothing better for the likes of Toumpas, Viney and Barry to learn off one of the AFL greatest Role model.

He'll be like Chad Wingard, not living up to the hype in his first season and then kill it in his second season.
So we expect a All Australian and best and fairest as well from Toumpas?
Chill out dude..

Will walk straight into our leadership group.
No eyebrow raising stuff like we did with Shannon Byrnes..

How's Billy Longer.. Goes one rabble club to another pile of trash LOL

2013 Offseason News @theafloffseason 18h
BREAKING @JacquiReedAFL: Terry Milera has left the club, refused to comment #waters
Ok we are not this bad...

That Round 1 W is looking a little more promising I have to say..
Don't get your hopes up high.. Just remember no one literally didn't want to coach Port last year and we were all saying what a joy ride it will be come round 1
A lot of water to go under the bridge still.
-
Ricky to return to the club in a mentoring role?
Senior Assistant..
-
? And if I was a player I would have been happy to leave as well, all we as supporters have talked about is how bad it must be to be there yet one bloke comes out and states it and he is ungrateful.
Shows your true character..
Didn't stop Jack watts who absolutey gets crucified from us supporters..
-
Kim Duthie would make a good coach. At least the players would follow her lead.

Some players would be shitty now that trade period and free agency is finished.. Nicky Dal did the right thing.
I feel for Watters though.. Wasn't he on SEN before saying that the president had told him he was there for the long run?
Something not right..
