Has to do with the disadvantage to an interstate side if they are in a draw. That i a the only reason that makes any sense.

Should be a siren at the end of the second 5 minutes, the ball bought straight back to the middle to equalise things and then next GOAL wins, not next point. Having no siren and next point is a recipe for disaster as someone may rush a behind 1 second after the 5 minutes without knowing it will cost them the game.

Understated and respectful. just the way it should be. Can't wait to see some of the abominations other teams come up with this year!

I gather the V3 has a starting point of Bailey being appointed, although didn't he really have two himself? We are really on rebuilt v20 or so since or last premiership.

Was it Albie Mangles who used to do a similar show and every episode he seemed to have a different bikini clad backpacker along for the ride, pardon the pun ?

Stats that matter - Season 2016 (or a truckload of bulldust!?)
Chris replied to Demon Dynasty's topic in Melbourne Demons
I would expect that to continue and the only team I expect to play a younger less experienced team than us is the lions. We will be close with a few but I doubt we will be older. -
I heard it wasn'tthe banned testosterone but was harmless protein.

"From what I can tell he's got a physiology or pharmacology degree,'' Bishop, a research leader at Victoria University, said. In February Dank told an interview with the ABC's 7.30 that he had a degree in biochemistry from the Queensland University of Technology, and was a PhD candidate (suspended last year) at the University of Sydney for a thesis on antioxidants. It is believed Dank undertook a Masters degree in sports science at the University of NSW in the mid 1990s, but it is unclear whether he graduated. "We have searched our system and have not been able to find a record of a Stephen Dank graduating from UNSW,'' a university spokeswoman said yesterday. One of Dank's lecturers at the University of NSW, Kevin Norton, described him as a likable and intelligent student, but added "I can't say for sure that he qualified for his Masters." "I'm not sure whether he graduated or not,'' Norton said. From http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/new-doubt-over-stephen-dank-as-his-qualifications-are-called-into-question/story-e6frf9jf-1226621082850 I could remember it was one of the pharma's. Pretty sure I did read somewhere it was pharmacy, oh well, it doesn't really matter because he does appear to have some sort of qualification.
-
He is a pharmacist from memory. Started higher studies in other areas but never finished them. On of the funniest Essendon supporters I have heard was defending Dank saying he did all the work for a Phd but didn't finish because he didn't write it up, WTF!

You would need to ask the Leyland Brothers that wouldn't you, after all that is what their song said!

And when they were made, and if they can be backed up by other evidence etc etc etc.

Barrett did say the AFL have told Dank to refer any information to ASADA, that would have to be a first that they want things done the right way, but it also takes it out of the media spotlight as ASADA have shown to not leak, unlike the AFL. I just watched what he had to say and all it essentially was was Dank saying Craig asked how to manage or increase testoterone. That is a fair question from a coach as long as it is followed by, it has to be legal. May well be nothing in that at all. Barrett also said he has seen documents from that time but does not say what the documents were or what they related to. Also didn't point out that Dank can't seem to do the same for the dons. This really is a piece of reporting (I don't think journalism is the right word) that is up their with Slobbo putting the pies in it even though there were worse clubs, and Robbo got the facts wrong. It is reporting for reportings sack with no fact and no details. Just a bit of slander. Barrett should realise that if he is going to do this then he should come out and back it up with facts or evidence.
-
Barretts sources are often from head office. I can't get any good reason in my head why head office would want this shared, unless it is to protect Collingwood and we truly are the whipping boy of the league.
-
Because he still thinks what he has done everywhere is fine. He checked with ASADA remember.

Oh well, hopefully a younger and more less experienced side will show them up on Sunday.

Don't forget Chunk getting in Pendles face at half time and starting a bit of biff.
-
Just like he was supposed to have had a long meeting with the Gold Coast doc at the ground on the same day the same day the Doc spent the whole day in surgery.
-
Any new evidence may make that irrelevant.

Funny how Dank can now say all sorts of things about Bock and us yet is still silent on the Dons. I wonder when he will try and put Geelong in the gun. Maybe if we did cheat he just wants everyone that cheated to be treated the same. His form of fair and equitable treatment.
-
On the bright side, if Dank coughs up and puts us in the [censored] we wont be missing too many players as there arent many left. On the downside if he does dump us in it and it is team wide then from memory the players are Jones, Gawn, Watts, Dunn, McDonald, Garland, Dawes?, and Frawley and Clarke at other clubs. That would be the end of any winning we may do. On the plus side again, if we have records as we apparently do, and the players didn't sign any forms agreeing to be injected with banned drugs, then we are in a much stronger position than the Dons were. We also got cleared by ASADA so that gives me some confidence.
-
That is certainly part of it, it just seems teams in crisis seem to come up against us at least 3 or 4 times a year. Can't wait until a team in crisis doesnt see us as a possible win!
-
If only. Just wait, Essendon will be given at least 3 picks in the top 10 this year. One for finishing near the bottom, one for Hurley, and one for Hibbard. If Heppel leaves too they will go into meltdown and give them the entire top 10!
-
Much like the credit I give you when you put words in my mouth and misinterpret what I have said!
-
Not at all Stuie. You miss the point completely and given you go on and on and on and on with illogical arguments normally I am not going to go into it past the next para. Please note, I have not said I was happy to lose, I have not said losing is a good thing, I have not excused the players for losing, I have not said it was an honorable loss, I have not said we should rest on that and accept it. I have said I am happy with the way we played that game, yes we can improve but the way we played was very good. We played very good footy against a very good side and narrowly lost. That happens. If we play that same very good footy against a lesser side we will win. It really is a very simple concept to understand.
-
Yes we did, but we played very good footy, that is the point. Playing very good footy are not mutually exclusive, if you lose it just means the other team played a little better or got some luck their way. If we play that type of footy every week we will win quite a few games.
