  1. If the AFL were serious, they would appeal this decision.

Thought when Laura was appointed things might change.

But no, just more of the same inconsistent garbage.

So Charlie is a good bloke. Kozi obviously isn't.

Corruption plain and simple, sub-conciously or not they have different outcomes for different people depending who they are.  Any one who looks at what's going on can see that.

Just not sure what anyone can do about it.  It's really not on and very very unfair.  That's all anyone wants, pure fairness across the board.  Is that just too much to ask?

With the passage of time, the reliefs sought by the plaintiff will become infructuous if the ...

True, regarding hit-the-post decisions. But as for adjudicating whether a goal was touched, this is in relation to whether the ball had passed the back of the goal line, which is painted between the posts, not the back of the padding.

(On replay the ball appeared to be touched while above the goal line, so correct decision appeared to have been made as far as I could see).

Think you'll find the back of the goal line lines up with the padding these days.

Should be a law against Kneeing a player in the ribs

Not a good look and can cause real damage i have suffered one similar and it still is tender 50 years later

Should have been taken out of the game years ago. Most dangerous action in the game bar none.

Wait until we play on a normal shaped ground before going apoplectic.

I'd also be asking the umpires department about Grundy going straight over the centre line too. Pretty sure that was a free kick last year for not giving the oppo ruck a chance to jump for the tap. Unless the umps made it up at the time. Lloyd Meek was pinned a few times for it.

Watch for a quick interpretation change.

The AFL won't like the look of that.

Most of the umpires can't bounce either so get rid of it.

5 years is a long time in MFC time, and here we are, inserting ourselves back into a gambling venue, and the heinous business of betting on animals.

Not forgetting that AFL is just as much a betting business.

Exactly. North bring heaps of pressure but bugger-all skill. It was true against us and again today. The women's game is almost unwatchable atm and will remain so until that skill so evident in other years can survive the pressure of battlers like North.

Smart coaches bring skilled side down by crowding the stoppages. They aren't interested in the look of the game. Problem is it's a physically draining way to play and they often get run over late in games by more skilled sides.

Problem also- there are too many stoppages.

The umpires should be paying obvious free kicks instead of trying to let the game flow, because it's not flowing.
