Incredible analysis

Simple but true

Phew that's a relief. Somehow I think you may be a guy that would be good to have alongside in my occasional bar fights. However, I have probably just outed myself for being to nice to a fellow Lander. You are probably a deadset b.........

For proper balance and so as not to demonise a minority it seems sensible to also have a spell on the sidelines for the nice guys. That will keep everyone on their toes and posters will ensure that they are not either abusive or agreeable. Nice guys could even out themselves if they think they have stepped over the niceness standard. Perversely you may have the volatile, violent and abusive cats trying to get outed for being nice. Everyone needs a holiday from DL from time to time why have the moderators impose penalties on the feral cats. There are are lot of guys on here that are so nice that they could be friends of mine but not beside me in a bar fight. By the way, where is Old Dee at the moment? I think he is taking a well earned holiday. Take out to many ratbags and the threads will be full of nice folk saying nice things. They may as well be on a dating site not a radical and controversial site as DL.

Good article, sums up my feelings and thoughts perfectly.

Wonderful stuff Titan, your last sentence is almost poetic and certainly priceless.

Whatever is done at the selection table, it looks very depressing looking at the Hawks likely team sheet. We simply dont have the talent to match up.

Well Demonland is an addiction perhaps he has just kicked the habit. Alternatively there is very good medication now for those with compulsive obsessive disorders. I am sure Earl can help supply tablets at a discount because I suspect it will not have been approved by the TGA. I mean tablets for the rest of us.

Rod Grinter on Open Mike Tuesday Night
hemingway replied to The heart beats true's topic in Melbourne Demons
What a player at his best, both forward and back. He played tall and as we know tough. His presence was immense both for his teammates and the enemy. I suspect his literary quotes to his opponents would have been short and not so sweet. Makes some of the tough guys today look like marshmallows including one of our own. -
Doesn't matter. His loss is a disaster for the team at this point with the hard teams salivating at the thought of playing us over the next few weeks.

The "They're out here" Get Rid of the Zone Defence Thread

Your reasoning is reassuring or at least a little reassuring mate. I hope I can manage my frustration without the medication and alcohol. -
I hope he has found tranquility wherever he may be. However having a holiday from DL may well be the answer.

The "They're out here" Get Rid of the Zone Defence Thread

Chris I like your opinions but many supporters including me are losing patience. As a club we do not have the luxury of time beyond this season. We will see what happens when we meet some of the big boys starting this weekend. I am encouraged by our development in so many ways but our defense has been awful all season. I am concerned that our players down back simply don't have the skills including the ability to read the game to implement the current game plan. -
With greater expectations comes greater disappointment. And this comes week by week depending on the result. The true measure or assessment will be made at season end.

Irrespective of his performance I wish folks would give the young kid a break. He is a kid and trying his best. However, a la Harmes and others he should be developing at Casey not in the senior team. Ron, I think Dunn is gone. We miss his beautiful kicking and that hurts us. However, he seems overweight and looks very slow both in mind and body. He is definitely not the future or even a player for next season based on current form. Is he better than our other options at the moment, now that is the question. Maybe but he needs to lift his game.

That is true and i admit that I have recently been a little excessive with my alcohol intake due to a number of problems. I am trying my best to maintain the women and song but avoid wine but I am struggling. I have moved into wine country in an attempt to get some peace and quiet and have another attempt at a final novel. However. the realisation that I have lost my desire to write and also listening to the game on the weekend, sent me in search of a bottle or two of my favourite claret. And as you know, I am not an agreeable person after a few drinks.

Apologies Bj never again. I will take indefinite leave from this thread as punishment.

Yes I have left myself down. I regret it and appreciate your sage advice. It's my unconscious Freudian mind getting the better of me

Daisy your imagination is far better than mine or perhaps you are just a man with more varied and higher tastes. As one gets older, I find myself occasionally regressing to youthful thoughts and desires. It can get me into trouble particularly when I ask the lovely continental lass in the organic shop I attend whether she can help with a bj. I need to make it clear that I am asking for a banana juice thus avoiding the deep scratches she left me down both cheeks!

and your initials bj stand for? No I suddenly understand, best left to ones imagination.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 10

Becoming vegetarian has nothing to do with it. The science and knowledge has moved way beyond this myth. You do not have to eat meat to be strong or have energy or whatever else you think eating meat gives you. Eating a balanced vegetarian diet ( not vegan) is far healthier and better for digestive purposes and cardiovascular health. All risk factors decrease, and it is good for the environment , not to mention the cruelty of killing living creatures. A balanced vegetarian diet does not decrease energy levels. -

Four ex-Demons in SA team this weekend
hemingway replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
You remind of supporters from other clubs that have sustained success and forget where you came from and adopt an arrogant hard core attitude. You lack respect and it reflects on you.
