The whole Watts getting stuck into on his QB debut game is as overrated as it gets. It was nothing. Michael Gardiner from West Coast was actually tormented in his first game.
-
Yes, I looked at their games played and forgot their bye isn't this round. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if they lost.
-
True, but Crows were coming off a terrible loss at home v us.

Stringer is so overrated. He can do some flashy things, but he is a chronic underperformer. If he played for the Dees some of my fellow Demonlanders would be very critical of me for the amount of times I was bagging him.

The way things are going tonight we'll be 6th if we win on Monday.
-
Matthew Richardson goes under the radar. Lovely guy, but I doubt I've ever heard an insightful comment on radio or tv. Also, there are so many ordinary teams. The two tonight are ordinary. The top 4 are ordinary. The competition is very close and there is not one fantastic team.

You're a genius too !

So Hogan has officially been ruled out. I thought some on here claimed to have the good oil. Seems not.

Genius.

Gonzo's post doesn't repudiate my assertion.

If you want to read biased left-wing bile The Age is great.

What are they investigating ? What were some of their recent stories you liked ?

Well I'm not into the Son of Communists, ergo, not into Connolly. And I can't divorce his politics, because he never shuts up about it. And he barracks for Essendon.
-
The Age Who reads that rag ? He'll no doubt increase his audience wherever he goes.

Really ? I'd say he needs a lot of confidence.

Garland is a great club man, so you may want to put him on staff, which might be a way of negotiating him out of his final year.

I don't take much notice of the MCG hoodoo. If we couldn't play the ground we wouldn't have strong quarters. V Carlton 6 goals in the 4th V Freo 7 goals in the 2nd and 6 goals in the last V Hawthorn 7 goals in the third V North 6 goals in the second If our game style was no good at the ground we wouldn't be having dominant quarters. Our issues have been as much about missing personnel and a young team learning a new game-plan.

Who are you ?

It's a good point, but that said, I've often thought it hurts more the next week, especially as Elliott had probably done his damage by the time he got injured. Wells had hardly touched the footy anyway. During the game a team's arousal levels are already set for the day and the groove of the match won't usually be shifted (unless your number one ruck goes down before half time). Starting a fresh game a week later without 3 best 22 players is a different ball game and imo will have an effect.
-
Statistically it's a great game but I didn't see it. He could have butchered the ball by foot, missed handballs, made poor decisions, and dropped chest marks. But I don't know, because I didn't see it. I don't put too much emphasis on it, because I'm very familiar with Jay as a player and his AFL games this year have been putrid. We want all our players performing to their best ability and if he has on Sunday that's great.

We have the fifth best percentage, we've won the 4th most quarters, and our biggest loss is by 29 points. I think our "inconsistency" is overplayed. No doubt a quarter here and there has cost us, but not having your two most important players will do that.
