Ignore Champion Data stats.  They are the worst.  They have always been fraudsters.

Look at their annual AA teams based on their stats, or even just their teams of the week.  The teams are diabolically bad.

I work for Champion Data. What do you mean fraudsters? We just call it as it is.

I know that it was a different time, but wasn't Grenville Dietrich the North Adelaide go-to man in the early 80's?

Yes he was but the thuggery ended by the early 90's.

Just watched daniher on AFL360 just breaks your heart listening to him, he said it’s probably his last year doing this fundraising if he is still with us he might not be able to talk by then, just a hideous disease.

I watched it as well and was also heartbroken, he is made of the tough stuff and a character you can only admire. Hopefully one day they can find a cure.

I'm going to be completely unrealistic in this situation and hold out some hope that we get a better outcome than what's currently being bandied about.   Because it's not confirmed there is a sliver of hope that it might only be a 4-6 week thing and not a full year.  I'm sticking with that sliver of hope.

Sorry mate but im a realist, it’s an ACL.

Buy some chance that I’m wrong I’m happy to eat some humble pie.

Joel Smith can do a lot of the things Lever does.  He may not be able to play as a 2nd tall though, so maybe we will need both Frost and Smith.

Not sure if Smith can read the flight of the ball & rebound like Lever does.

I would give Frosty first crack purely on size and speed.

In my opinion this is the best and most important win we’ve had in the last 6 weeks. Yes it was ugly but to grind out a win was very important. I wanted to see how we would perform when challenged and when things were going against us. Well today was that day and coming off a 5 day break with a man down, 2 more carrying injuries, bad umpiring and getting smashed in clearances and we won by 50 points. Gees you would take that any day, but especially given the circumstances. This win tells me more about where we are as a club than the last 5 wins have.

    I am scarily excited.

Well said and I'm excited too, next week will be epic.

    Hope Lever is ok
