Was taken pick. 1 in the Rookie Draft in 2011 I think. Seen a bit of him. His brother is Jack from Collingwood. Similar to McDonald. Very athletic and fit for his size and can play forward. Doesn't have the greatest foot skills but has a lot of desire. Overall good pick up for our backline.

I think with a big pre-season under his belt and with Roos at the helm, Toumpas will show his true potential.

I agree with what your saying GNF but I think we are all missing the point somewhat. As Melbourne supporters of course we are going to be upset at the level of success other 'power' clubs are experiencing apart from us. However, free agency is about the player, not the club. It is about letting the player choose where they want to play. And as players, they have the right to choose where they want to play.

You are exactly right in waiting for Dangerfield to decide. Adelaide are already satisfied - they are happy with what we are offering. Now it is down to the man himself.

Very true, refer to my previous post. The problem Roos & Co are having is we are able to dangle $$ plus trades to satisfy, but if he were to come it would be so costly. The money he would sign for equates to signing 3-4 decent mids etc. And have a look at the players off contract next year. Time will tell. It will heat up in the next few days as Roos is off on holidays and wants everyone to know exactly what we will trade and $$ we will pay.

Dangerfield is still a chance, although slim. There is one big fish though wanting Dangerfield. Lumumba is just a matter of crossing the i's and dotting the t's. Avid reader for some years.

I think it is because we are Demons supporters that we are so persistent with holding on to false hope in this thread. Dangerfield will not be coming to MFC. Let's say, the equalisation debate is about to get worse. I'm happy with the players we will sign in the trade period.
