I have no knowledge, but would think that they would be back training Thursday. Gives them almost a week break, and gives them 3 session plus captains run. They may even train tomorrow, Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday.

Petty will be okay. Will see improvement over the next few weeks, starting Anzac Eve. Coming back from a significant injury.

I don’t think we can play he and Brown together though. Our forwardline is too tall and we need Kossie and McAdam in there to provide connection. I’d give Brown a few weeks at VFL on limited time to get his knee right.

Watched them both and couldn’t tell you the difference. If anything with today’s currency, Butters gets a week more than Hunter. 

Given how bad that Richmond are with injuries, I’d rest Clarry and BBB. Maybe even May. Use this as a block to get ourselves right for a solid period against Geelong and the Baggers 

Someone posted about the class of Jeffo on show yesterday. I see he had 2 handballs, 2 kicks.. gee he must not waste a possession then. 😉
 

Is Dogga Jnr a chance to play soon? Was good in practice matches, seems to know where the goals are and has pace and endeavour.

Gee I hope we have the Brisbane return leg circled in the fixture… the [censored] you ‘Noah Answorth Cup’ or ‘whatever his [censored] name is’ cup.

Didn’t post last night, but have a few observations..

Sparrow tries his heart out and deserves some credit.

Rivers needs to spend more time in the midfield, we need to backfill his role.

Tracc tried to force energy last night, was clearly tired, but he tried to get us going.

Probably the worst game I’ve seen from Viney. He looked disinterested in the first half.

Kolt was okay. Tried hard and probably found the pace a bit much. It was a good debut and he will take the opportunity next time and become a player. 

Lever is a liability when May is not covering his man or dangerous space. He is slow, fumbly and makes errors when pressure is on.

It was a very young small defence last night, who couldn’t cope with all the supply, they will learn.

All in all a bit disappointed, but you have off days sometimes and it’s part of sport and life.

Need Kos and McAdam both playing together post break will be a great addition. Petty and Brown shouldn’t play in the same side in my opinion. We are best when we go smaller and find targets, not bomb it!

I’d be keen to bring in AMW for Kossie. He has been playing back, but is a dynamic small forward with tackling pressure. From what we have available- he is closest to like for like. 
 

Agree with most that Billing’s should be sub and give Taj a full game.
