MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 14
Ethan Tremblay replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
The Beatles last came to Australia in 1964, the same year we won the Grand Premiership. I note that Sir Paul McCartney is touring Australia this year, could it be that he is the cursed one and not Norm, and his planned trip will break the curse? Lift the curse Paul, lift the curse. -
Looks likely to miss another fortnight. Unless the Weagles are playing games. Heard it a few minutes ago on the radio over here.
-
No he won't. He has a new injury, a small tear in his Achilles.
-
Give the kid a run, he bloody deserves it.

I took the liberty of making this for you to use Picket McDonald.

A mans only as good as his word @picket fence .. Pay up.

How good and unselfish was his handball off to Hannan. I liked the little head nod backwards and Pedders saying "go go" just before the handball off. Full of confidence.
-
Not if Kennedy plays. Their talls killed us pre-season. On JKH, I don't think he fits into our game style. He's too soft.
-
JKH needs an extended run in the VFL. If no one else is omitted due to injury, as others have suggested, Jones out and Gawn in.
-
I will vomit if someone suggests JKH for Jones.

THE AFL will finally announce details of its collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with the players on Tuesday afternoon. The media conference will be streamed LIVE on AFL.com.au from 4.30pm ACST, ahead of the annual Hall of Fame ceremony that this year will be held in Adelaide. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2017-06-20/show-me-the-money-afl-finally-strikes-cba

Clark has been playing for them since Round 1. I played on him earlier last month. I'd post my thoughts on him but would possibly cop a ban.
-
I can't work the site on my mobile, is the Thursday session over there or here?
-
With a couple of weeks of 6 day breaks between games I'd suggest they'll only have a light session one day this week, and it will probably be over here on Friday. But to answer your question, I have no idea.

Frost out?

List Structure: What do we actually need?
Ethan Tremblay replied to Mach5's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think we should go one step further and waterboard them. -
It would be a little bit awkward for Bartel to suspend Selwood then play golf with him during the week.
-
It needs to be a completely independent body. At the moment it's just mates looking after mates. They rarely suspend the big name players however justify their position by suspending the lesser known players. Yesterday's MRP is the perfect example of this.
-
JKH is a good VFL player but he's not up to making it at the next level. Happy to be proven wrong, but I won't be.
-
I can't believe that this has been commented on as much as it has. Not on here but within the media. The Bulldogs banners are far more antagonistic week in week out. Don't change Bugg, it's brilliant.
-
As much as we joke about there being no logic, it's actually true. If logic and standardisation were applied, then the MRP wouldn't be allowed to 'interpret' rules to get the big name players off.
-
Shuey's hit would have been classified as "careless" and they will say he didn't mean to make contact with the head. Hence why he didn't receive a suspension. To me it's easy, if you elect to hit someone off the ball and you make contact with the opposition players head, then you're out.
-
Rance also cleared of exaggerating contact. If he didn't exaggerate, I don't know what exaggerating is.
-
Some sort of issue between JJ and Stringer, one of them apparently won't be at the Bulldogs next season (from the top..)
