Goodwin and McCartney are great additions . Best shape the club has been in in years. Also - Aussie rock royalty and gun graphic designer working full time at the club. Talented bunch all round by the look of it. We will make finals again this year or next imo.

If the majority are correct including Roos and co blease wont make it . Could it be the cats have a gameplan change this Summer with Sammy in mind or are arrogant enough to back in the culture . The geelong way .

Arrogance is often accused of people who are nervous or hiding something . Cockiness- confidence players can be a double edge sword when down they down but it depends on ability and attributes and belief . Carey had issues was a super cocky player - some would say arrogant Swarta - some would say arrogant Wouldnt mind a kid who had enough belief and ability to walk that line

Mckernan at 198 as a defender for the 2m tall forwards we cannot match for size if Frost is injured.

Played forward ruck and back in the 18's comp. big unit who is fast and has great foot skills. Its a win and true to Roosys word on not drafting talls until they play a couple of years to see how they develop . Lucas Cook anyone? Frost could be our CHF .

This makes sense to me Merrett and a recycled player or 2 along with picks 2 and three and we improve again. I'm hopeful Blease can be saved by Goodwin and adapt to Roosys game plan as a rookie and make a Jettaesque comeback although unlikely. His outstanding attribute is very useful.

Trenners at full fitness is a natural ball hunter has an a knack of impacting the contest and was useful as a forward when resting. I rate the man from what we saw pre Neeld and dont underestimate the the negative effect said career wrecker had. Trenners is slow but not as slow as his injury seasons suggest. He can cut it like many slowish pro's have. I agree with many on this thread it would want to be more than 12 ( used in a big deal ) and 12 and 23 for him is a disgrace. The club could have kept things quiet or requested Richmond do so until a deal was done. I think he deserves better and if he stays will be great for the club.
