In - Jones Weiderman Pederson vince out - Hogan ( inj ) Anb Hannan Petracca ( all rested - no reserves game )

Salem or Zac Jones is a tough choice but I reckon Zac could be as good as his big brother in a few years injury free . He has great handball skills is quick tough and a good kick and above all else super competitive. All though Nath has carried a disfunctional team -who knows how resilient people are until they have done it as has our great captain . If Salem can get some continuity he could be anything .

Is anyone posting from down there? Is the wind like last year ? Experience will count and being able to run the ball against the wind will suit us and obviously kicking long with it . Im tipping Jeff Garlett to kick 5 thankfully Boomer aint playing .

At home saving my beer money for a grand final ticket . Nope strange year for me really . I bought a trident membership 8 years ago and the on field struggle kinda went hand in hand with what I was experiencing in my personal life . The sudden and unexpected death of my mother and the ongoing drama's that happen in life .But becoming involved with the dees has been great , seeing the players in the club area and standing up for them if I felt it was needed on away games with opposition supporters going way over the line . ( i should probably stop that lol) So its been a journey and now with 2 kids under 4 and trying to juggle work for both parents I have missed games this year including the weekend . Next year hopefully the kids can tag along and it will be a different experience again . I hold my trident membership and have hopes of seeing more games next year and all of the finals this year no matter what!!!

What has been good with playing guys to try and get them back into form - Gawn Hogan and today Jack Watts is that they have all held their own . Not being beaten by an opponent running off them causing havoc at the same time not finishing marks ( game touch ) or dominating like they can . They have all worked at it and yes rusty to begin with but have improved or will to where we need them to be . I watched the 2nd quarter again just now and Watts was running with discomfort , hoping he hasnt tweaked it again.

Weideman has to play until Watts is back . Had our chances but over complicated things . a simple leg on the ball forward - just keep it in front . Scrap it out do what we do then hit a mid streaming forward . ( not too many presenting?) Missed the boys tonight but could have played better and won with what we had . Max and Jesse working their way back into form slowly and bravely .

Cant help think Trac is like dangerfield . Hopefully he has an injury free run at it and plays as an onballer 70% forward 30%. He is hard to take to ground / great balance explosive - strong over head although hasnt displayed any great leaping capabilities . Skills are great and most of all he is a natural .

I guess they offer it to Hird in order so he doesn't feel bad about it if they dont offer it then the afl hope he declines so he is not subjected to booing or creates a distraction in grand final week . Yeah it could be good for some of the injured / rested guys to go up - do some training in the heat .

If Pederson misses he should be rested and bring him back fresh the week after . In Cam we trust .
