Everyone's upset about the suspension. What Lewis brings to the club is much more than the on field stuff we expect. Picking Lewis up will be repaid multiple times over in forthcoming seasons. What is much more important to the club now is to continue to play with the mindset we are now bringing to each game. It's no longer lambs to the slaughter each week like it was. Make no mistake about the fact that we are an entirely different group nowadays, and Lewis is the embodiment of the change in culture that will see us feared and revered in years to come. Lewis is driven and he has even more reason now to spark the Dees to seldom seen levels

On the flip side to this, the silence of the Richmond fans when we got out to close to a 4 goal lead was deafening too. There was plenty of noise for the dees.

How to fix the MRP ?? Put them in a cinema, show them old episodes of World Championship Wrestling and torch the lot of them. Maybe someone like Brute Bernard or Killer Karl Cox could give them an uppercut if they make a patently incorrect judgement.

Lucifer, Hill was not a big loss for the Hawks. Yes, he was fast and yes if he got the ball on the outside and had a metre on an opponent, he looked impressive. How often did Hill win a one on one or get a difficult contested possession ??? With pressure applied, he usually coughed it up. Okay, he won three premierships or whatever it was, but don't look at Hill through rose coloured glasses. One thing the Hawks definitely got right in the last 6 months is getting rid of Hill.

Hodge was " admirable " today, we were reminded by the commentators in the final quarter. Within 10 seconds, he had kicked into the man on the mark and handballed the ball straight to a Geelong player. He has been a champion but he's gone now. There are too many holes in the Hawthorn team now, not being filled by the likes of Hartung,Sicily, Langford or Vickery. Is it too much to hope for the Weagles to deliver another 86 point thumping to the beleaguered Hawks next week??? We can only hope !!!!

I am loving the demise of Hawthorn. They have had a good run and it's time for someone else. What I'd love to see is the dees banging a nail into the Hawthorn coffin in a few weeks time. Don't forget it was us late last year who showed the Hawks were mortal.

The dees struggle when teams apply manic pressure and we lose our composure. When this happens, we tend not to reply in kind to wrest back the initiative and we look passive and overwhelmed. If we do it to other teams, when we're in charge, we can look as good as just about any team. I think we are miles better than we've been but when the acid in put on us, we have to turn up the heat on the opposition. It's easier for supporters to say this than it is for he players to stem the tide when the opposition get super aggressive. Thats the main problem I see during matches and it's where on field leaders can change the course of a game.

I think Petracca went to Whitefriars although he wouldn't have been out of place at Marcellin.

Can't agree with you on Aliir Aliir AF. Seen him twice this year and he looks hot and cold. He looks keen but the concept of defending is one he hasn't mastered. A bit weak one on one I reckon. His errors last night were responsible for at least one West Coast goal, probably two.

Smoking is becoming unpopular and less widespread. If the government cared about its ill effects on the public, they would legislate to ban the sale of tobacco and tobacco products to people born from the year 2000 onwards. They won't because the revenue they collect from it is too great. Really, they couldn't care less about the health of the public. They are disingenuous to suggest otherwise. That said, I'd prefer that our players didn't smoke.

I'm most upset because just seeing Jesse with a gasper ( not Darren ) has caused me to rush out and buy a carton of Craven A's . And I've smoked half of them already. Damn it !
