i think you could get away with it. the only problem would be getting the money thru chan 7 to twigs. say chan 7 become our major sponsor (worth around 1 mil a year). we need to get money to twigs. we cant pay chan 7 to do it because that will show up on the books. if chan 7 withhold half the payment of sponsorship to pay twigs it will show up. it will be obvious to those who look thru the books that the sponsorship deal is worth more than we are getting paid...

i didnt see the hodge incident but the other two both deserved what they got easily. both cheap acts that werent needed. crafords especially was dirty, and lewis was cheap on a player after the contest was over...

points well made. the problem with the situation is it could become a bidding war leaving some club to pay over the odds asking price...although if judd is smart he will avoid this because it will wreck his new team, which is why i think he will chose one club only...

imo that rules out richmond and carlton. (and st kilda the way their postition is off field) other vic clubs in the bottom 8: WB, essendon, us. i think we have more up side that essendon, and i dont think the bulldogs could get him... i think we are in a good position here. smokey for me is hawthorn or the kangas, but im not sure if they will have what it takes to bargain with WC. geelong will be paying their own players too much, and so will collingwood imo.

i think 4 and sylvia could be a deal breaker. i can see sylvia being good, but not as good as judd. sylvia is a player i dont believe we would miss from our current structure, because he hasnt yet got fit enough to own a position. imagine judd in our team, he would get the tag, meaning TJ and brock can concentrate on getting the footy...

im up for cheating the system. our directors have to be involved in companies that can pay judd for media or advertising work. those clubs can sponsor the club for x amounts of money, which is actually a discount of $y of what the sponsorship is worth. meanwhile, they hire judd to market their products for $y. that cant be illegal, because all deals are above board. we just have to ensure he gets enough, and that it doesnt aafect his ability to earn marketing dollars elsewhere...
