MFC have clearly turned it around this year, we are far more competitive and appear to be going in the right direction. IMO Frawley should've put pen to paper by now. I'd be leaning towards moving him on. Not only that, I wouldn't offer him upwards of 550k, to my eye Frawley is a limited player. If we can get a top 10 pick for him, we've won the lotto.

These sides aren't tanking and won't tank. There is no priority pick. St Kilda might fast track kids towards the end of the year, but they need to. I think the Saints had a real chance to turn their list over in 2011-12, and gain some real quality kids. In highsight, I think even their captain would agree. Now they have Riewoldt going to waste in their forward line - and they also lack quality talent. Ross Lyon might a good tactician and game day coach, but his ability to manage a list leaves little to be desired. Not sure Richmond would tank for Wright or McCartin given how well Vickery turned out. I think Richmond are in an unfortunate position, in that they have good mids, but by the time their develop a couple of KP players - those mids won't be as effective.

I'd take the compo pick over Frawley. Frawley isn't a great decision maker or kick. He isn't a forward either. I'd rather get the compo pick and trade it.

I don't know why, but I hate North with a passion. I just cannot stand that club. On the upside, Bernie Vince killed them today. Sadly not much else to say. Salem to the VFL, kid has no tank.

Yep, they are pretenders, but we can never beat them. We always make sides like North look great. And we make good players like Harvey - look like champions.

I agree. Martin was on the up when we got rid of him. He'd been excellent.

Gysberts, Cook and Morton weren't dumb footballers, they were just pea hearts. Cook and Gysberts taken far FAR too early. We haven't recruited dumb footballers, we've just recruited guys in the first round - that probably belong in the 3rd round.

VFL is just a contested mans game, JKH need not worry, Roos ain't silly.

When his brother is Nathan Jones, it should've been a simple exercise. I know If I was in the same position, I'd of spoken to the club and made sure I found my way there. Playing with family is important, you can bung on about draft rules, but a simple nod from a two time B & F winner would've been good enough. Zac Jones should be in the red and blue, no two ways about it.

I think this is a good contract to pay Jesse what he wants. Keep him happy early while we have cap space. He'll be highly sort after in a couple of years.

Yeah I didn't think of that. Mid year Jones would've slipped past the 3rd round, so we could've had both. I don't know, I just prefer the Collingwood approach to late picks - telling them to slow down, we'll pick you up at the back end, like Langdon.

He should be on our list. We should've told Zac Jones to slow down mid last year. He'd of slipped to us in the third round.

Plowman, O'Rourke and Mitchell would be top of the list. Mitchell is unlikely, but would be great. The GWS lads would be realistic targets, package up a deal Roosy - we'll have both thanks.

Has that balance, class and poise. Necessary characteristics of the greats. Kid is just a gun, he'll cause headaches for sides next year.

Currently wiping the egg off my face after potting Kent's inclusion earlier in the game. Great effort by Kent, amazing. Lyndyn Dunn is an absolute gun.
