Roosy needs to get in his ear then. Membrey is a Gippsland lad, Casey is basically the home club for Gippsland kids. Membrey is gettable and it would stick it up the Saints.
-
So let me get this right, if Sydney delist Membrey - and he nominates MFC - we could take him? Is this right? I am not sure about the rules. I understand he nominated St Kilda during the recent trade week, but that means nothing now. Also reported on big footy that Sydney offered St Kilda the option of taking Membrey a late pick, so they could grab Frost in the PSD.

GNF is the truth.

I think that is unlikely. If St Kilda wanted a tall they'd of traded into pick 4. Unless of course they really rate McCartin and don't want to risk us taking him. Either way, I guess it is fun to speculate, we'll have to wait another month or so to find out. We are in a great position though, we can take Brayshaw and either Petracca or McCartin, depending on who gets through. A couple of big bodied forwards in Hogan and McCartin would be ideal coming into 2016 - which is when we'll be driving hard at free agents.
-
Yep, I'd take McCartin or Wright ahead of lever.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM FROST
KingDingAling replied to Gipsy Danger's topic in Melbourne Demons
They blinked the boys. BP still leaving a lasting legacy. All aside though, welcome aboard to Sam Frost. -
I reckon we have our eye on Jetta.

I rate our draft period probably a 3/10, maybe a 3.5.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM FROST
KingDingAling replied to Gipsy Danger's topic in Melbourne Demons
St Kilda will be trying to get this deal done in the next hour. That way they get first dibs at Frost in the PSD. -
I'd only give 2 & 3 away for Fyfe, Selwood or Parker.
-
There are rumors that Geelong wanted to deal into pick 5 to take Lever, so I wouldn't bank on him dropping too far down.
-
If St Kilda do take Petracca with pick 1, it wouldn't be a bad idea if we taken McCartin with pick 2. We have Hogan coming through, to add McCartin to that would be massive. We will have developing mids in Viney, Tyson, Salem, Brayshaw - and arguably Toumpas. MFC would have 2 bustling forwards, not just any type of forwards - but old school, bustling, dominate fowards. So I don't think it is the end of the world if St Kilda do take Petracca, they'll only be shooting themselves in the foot. Membry isn't going to solve their problems, he is a small forward and probably even better suited to a midfield role. Over the trade period we have seen how valuable forwards can be - with the Bullies parting with their captain and high draft picks just to get one.

Mitch Clark is too fragile to make it IMO. Good score to get Lumumba, at least he'll get out there - even if he does have his own issues, still plays and plays fairly well.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HERITIER LUMUMBA
KingDingAling replied to Moonshadow's topic in Melbourne Demons
Bonus pick up really. We do need older heads, even if it is O'brien. -
Gee Essendon supporters are flogs. They are all delusional.
-
Brayshaw is a good comparison to Wines. I wouldn't straight swap Wines for Kennedy alone. 2 and 3 for Kennedy would be short sighted at best.
-
2 and 3 and Roos can GAGF.
-
Yeah, personally I wouldn't pull the trigger on this trade. I'd rather we backed ourselves in with the draft.
-
If Roos wouldn't give away 2 and 3 for Dangerfield - then they won't go for Kennedy. So maybe pick 3 at tops.
-
Wallace assessing our list after the break, should be interesting.

How important is the resurgence of Trengove?
KingDingAling replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
This will be just the rocket Trengove needs. There will be no complacency while he recovers and sits on the sidelines. He'll have a burning desire to prove the doubters wrong, I think this will be the making of Jack. Trenners main issue for mine has been a lack of aggression, so hopefully this situation brings it out on the field. -
Jack Trengove re-injures his navicular (2014) - trade deal off
KingDingAling replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
Players come back in all sports, sometimes Mayweather has the year off - comes back and dominates. Sugar Ray Leonard had a LONG stint off. Ali, Tyson. Jordan had time out of basketball, came back and dominated. Trengove can come back and be a better player, he is only young. I back you in Jack. -
Josh Thurgood?
