  1. Wow what a pressurised game, just made the G look small. Did not help that we let them waltz out of the centre for the first 2 goals, we had our chances to win it in the last, but didn't get the chocolates. So the equation for me is 5 wins in a row please and I will be very happy.

  2. Just another step back into mediocrity. Our decision making and delivery into the forward line is just abyssmal. Have no idea what our foward coach is telling them to do, but what ever it is, its wrong. Lets move him on now.

I got an email today from the club telling me how to get tickets for this game in Adelaide.

Is anyone looking at going to this game?

Got the same email but only saw it after work today. Indicated that I had to redeem by 4pm today. Have i misread this or Is this correct I have missed out on the opportunity - I'm confused maybe I need to glass of read or maybe I need a holiday. Actually I will do both.

  4. I anybody mildly concerned about Petracca playing with a fractured in his leg. I know its if, buts and maybes, but I'm tipping Brisbane with target him and and test that leg out consistently throughout the night. Its not that hard to turn a hairline in a major break that could ruin his ability to play next year. Also why would the club advertise the fact he has a fracture, would have thought talking about the calf instead would have been more sensible.

  5. Great courage from Josh Jenkins  and Eddie Betts to have unleashed such an extraordinary and harrowing story. A wonder how many others players that this camp has affected but are unable to tell their story and need help in addressing this period of their playing careers.   To me there seems to be a lot of  lip service about player welfare from the AFL and AFLPA, well now its their turn to be courageous to stand up and give this issue, the players and supporters the due consideration that it deserves. Look forward to seeing the response.

Spot on Wells on this issue.

My view of the Northey years was that the team played right up to the final bell and were never beaten until the end, such was the way Swooper had the team playing from 87 to 91. You always knew the contest was on till the end. (except the 88 GF of course)

That's now obsolete and I believe the team, and the opposition, will think it's always winnable/or loseable (from the oppo's viewpoint) with any deficit up to 40 points. The Max gawn Line as you say.

In fact Goodwin talked about how the team constantly talked about their Lions comeback game earlier in the year from which thay took self - belief to get them over the line in later games in 2021.

Well said Demon17 - Remember coming back to Australia in 87 after 5 years away and found under Northey we had a team that could always win the close game - never out of it till the end. My favorite era into the 90's until now. Cannot wait for 2022 season to come around.
