I do agree and I'm definitely a strong supporter for investing in our young guns, but if we're a club pushing for finals next season, playing Barlow as a forward could help us big time in my opinion. Not saying we should go out and chase him with every penny we've got, but certainly worth a thought.. He just adds that little bit more experience and class that i think Vandenberg lacks in his game. Just one to think about..

What is the likelihood of Barlow joining us? Have we expressed any interest in him?

i don't think Garland has that degree of value. Good in theory though, would like to see us get some real value out of potential departing players like Dunn, Garland and maybe Dawes (wishful thinking with Dawesy though!!)

If Hibberd goes through for our future second round pick and Lewis for a late pick (44)... how does Rockliff not happen for 23 and Dunn? Isn't it fair for both parties? Obviously i don't know the situation each clubs are in, just a thought..

I was under the impression yesterday that Rockliff was set to be finalised or completed today or tomorrow... now it sounds very unlikely that he'll come to us. How did this occur?? Has there been any major movements i've missed or was it generally an unreliable rumour?

I'd assume Dees will wrap up Lewis and Hibberd by tomorrow or at latest Tuesday. If Rockliff stays as is, and remains as just speculation, i wouldn't think the Dees would have much more business to attend to.. hopefully i'm proven wrong!!!

Is anyone's sources indicating to a delay in the Hibberd trade due to negotiations with Rockliff? Or are the two completely seperate situations??
