  1. no itll be black, so will look like essendon anyway
  2. I note that we are wearing a white jumper again this round Vs the Bumbers...so there is zero chance we will see the RED jumper on-field. A real let down on the clubs part conning supporters into thinking that we had a second clash strip, making people spend money on it and then never wearing it. Just call it a training strip if that is what it is.
  3. Tanking ?? http://www.triplem.com.au/melbourne/sport/afl/news/2015/7/essendon-lose-experienced-pair-ahead-of-melbourne-clash/
  4. who said anything about him getting dropped rpfc? This thread has lost the plot..he is either goyt an injury and will miss or didn't train but will still play...geez
  5. FFS this is going round in circles
  6. so Watts the story with Watts? no explaination from the club? Maybe he was doing light duties indoors? Would be nice to know from the club..
  7. Get a grip about Hogan..all smiles here... https://www.facebook.com/MELBOURNEfc/photos/a.10151939167012317.1073741839.285839797316/10153520912502317/?type=1&theater Have we lost our man on the ground at Casey? Any updates on Vanders/Watts/Gus
  8. Word is that Watts is missing, can anyone confirm? Also, club tweeted that Vanders was going through test at training, you are saying you havent spotted him at all? Any info from guys out at Casey?
  9. lets talk about the present then bloke? Go on and look at all his [censored] ups this year...he is no bloody good. the sooner he is out of the team the better.
  10. have you watched the replay of that whole 6 seconds mate? The ball is sat up perfectly to be spoilt. HAD Ricky held the mark it would have been a ripper.. look at the vision. Bail could have run to thirty and missed, as he is accustom to and we would have at least drawn. HACK!
  11. The more I loo at this graphic, the more i am astonished we didn't even get a behind. he has that many options....
  12. The Plight of Bail... that's a 5 on 2 hahahah..he still mupped it...once of his balloon balls sat it right up.
  13. No ...he was trying to kick a goal, shanked the kick, landed it short and couldnt handle the pressure/responsibility of kicking the goal he should have kicked. could have run in further. Not up to it. smell the roses.
  14. I remember this moment fondly too...despite it being an incorrect decision, watch the bloke put himself under unnecessary pressure AND HAVE ZERO AWARENESS!! - http://www.afl.com.au/video/2014-06-29/dees-deliberate-rushed-whats-your-decision
  15. I especially liked Bails running goal from 40 metres to win us the game on Queens Birthday...oh that's right he didnt make the [censored] distance and despite Pettards best efforts we couldnt get a score. Bloke couldn't hit the side of a house. DUD..
  16. Both feared contact when running back with the flight of the ball inside 50 and dropped easy marks. When Jack Watts missed a similar one earlier this year this site crucified him. BOTH had easy marking opporrtunities in the F50 and crapped their dacks fearing an oncming opponent. Irony was that there was no opposition player coming at them. DUDS...Absolutely duds. We have put up with it for 5 years.
  17. You are having a laugh aren't you? Both have been OKAY (Mediocre, did not f%%k TO BADLY, Still made mistakes but had others playing well around them, still miss easy goals and butcher their kicking) when we have won, but they are horrible heartless fottballers who squibb the contests and crucify us with their sh23THOUSE foot skills. Ben Newton may have a future, Michie may have a future, JKH has a future .....enough is enough. I would rather lose with kids getting experience than persist with these duds.
  18. Based on what? The fact we are cursed?
  19. He missed 4 or 5 easy marks that he would normally take. His timing was off. His kicking at goal was off. He did some good things further up the ground but generally I thought he was off. I never doubted that he wa trying hard. He gives 100% and gets frustrated with himsel, but as I said, to me, he looked like he had missed a month of footy
  20. Tyson is right off at the moment. So slow. Bail is the worst footballer to ever play at te MFC. He is closely followed by Matt Jones. Howe is a one trick pony. Hogan ha a stinker and should not be allowed to extend his break again. His head was not in the gane and he looked like a bloke who had missed a month of footy. Dunn's free/50m at the start of last quarter was the momentum sucker. He constantly does one stupid thing a week that ends up being so costly. Tom McDonalds form has dropped right off. He was smashed tonight and constantly behind his man
  21. Spot on dee-luded. The last time I suggested moving to Toorak Park on the thread tht discussed the Elsternwick park move, many posters said it was a logistical nightmare to get to, there was no parking etc. I am not certain if those posters had actually ever been to Toorak Park because it is directly next to Toorak station and between two tram lines and has ample street parking all around it. It is far more accessible than Goschs Paddock by car. There is no free parking around there. Admittedly there is the station. Anyway, point is, logistically and geographically there is nothing wrong with Toorak Park. It is close to bayside and the inner south east, where the majority of our supporters are based. IF, the government, AFL, us and Prahran/Old Xavs could get th funding happening to upgrade the joint, it could be a super facility. There is room to move as the huge place next door (always been unsure if it was offices or a medical facility ???) has been sold and will be re developed as far as I know.
  22. They didnt do much training. Only blokes going at it all night were the blokes who didnt play on the weekend. Hogan took set shots. Bit of kick to kick.
  23. Great turn out. Social atmospheres. Beers being sold. Players signing. Demon shop open. BBQ pumping. My club, the old xavs delayed their start to accommodate the Dees. I would like to see us experiment with it again. Anyone else get there?
  24. Jamar or Spencer have to play as a forward. Othwerwise we have raised the white flag before the game and the players will know it and not bother. As bad as that sounds, our list is like that. We gotta believe we can win.
  25. Lets add Spencer and Gawn and have one as the tall ful forward option. Roos has to show some creativity this week. Try something. Otherwise, the fans will be that depleted and depressed by Monday
