This is what I call for...at some stage of the game I want to see a line drawn in the sand(dermie style).

what would you think if a melee started?..players fined and potentially suspended..worth it?

Most of the senior blokes would go in with handbags I reckon.

F*#K yes my dad n I have been waiting for this for a while.

Show some spirit

Carroll tried it yesterday

It’s what this team needs SPIRIT

I can just see it now

As soon as the melee starts, Cameron Bruce falls to the ground with a fake injury so he doesnt have to get involved

Nathan Carroll and Brad Miller licks their lips and run in, only to both be flattened by a genuine toughman in Matthew Scarlett

David Neitz, the only man capable of outmuscling anyone from Geelong, hides behind the goalpost in embarrassment as our players get torn to shreds

While in the stands, Demonlands resident clowns, Grand Old Fox and realist, decide to french kiss to pass the time

i really liked what carroll did on the weekend!! jones was genuinally upset after getting tackled and causing a WB goal, and walked back to the centre square trying to keep his chin up and then comes the abuse of the bulldogs midfielders...as soon as carroll saw this, he went to his team mates aid (good practise over summer), but we need more of this

also, i heard that the bulldogs were niggling davey all day and giving him little corkies all day...this is when players need to stick up for their team mates the most.

I'd like to see a bit of heart.

If your getting belted by nearly a 100 points why not....??

If you can't win the match at least try and win a fight.

Show a bit of passion and aggression!

At the moment our players couldn't punch their ways out of a wet paper bag! :(

Thats what Carrol and Brock were doing over summer! They were training!

We were all very harsh on them, and now we want them to show heir wares on the track!

I for one take it all back; Sorry Brock, Sorry Nathan, keep up the good work!

I agree.

Spot on boys, to hell with the politically correct blue blood supporters who want choir boys with hymn books out their. I want to see spirit, passion & hardness! Get rid of bruce, wheatley, green & white.

I want to see the likes of Carroll, McLean, Sylvia, Whelan, Jamar, Neitz, Moloney, P Johnson, Bartram, Pettard, Bode, Martin, in playing real hard nosed footy, we might go down on the scoreboard but we'll draw a line in the sand as far as what is expected our own from now on, as far as the Mighty Dees are concerned.

IT'S TIME TO BRING BACK THE RUTHLESS & RUGGED ATTITUDE OF THE GREAT NORM SMITH & BARASSI'S DAYS.

' then we can have something to build from.

It says alot when you confuse starting a melee as drawing a line in the sand.

It would seem you have a number of mates who confuse playing competitive hard disciplined football with a melee. Its aggression at the contested ball not the opposition player. Its so basic and fundamental.

Neanderthal thinking at best.

A disaster in the making.

More like netball skirts.

Apologies to all those women who play netball. Even you have more heart than these blokes

I'd rather see all the players hitting the packs, putting their bodies on the line, running hard to shepherd their teammates, runnign with the flight of the ball,

True hard stuff.

Those acts inspire, not a jumper grab and a wrestle.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea

Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE
