Am I a cynic or was there some symbolism in Robbo throwing his boots into the crowd at the end of the last nights game?

Was he putting a full stop to a terrible season or was it a full stop to his time at Melbourne given his contract dispute?

i agree he is an attention [censored], yesterday shouldve been about saying goodbye to bizzell brown and pickett but robbo had to make it about himself

Making a comment like that you could be considered the same…….

Robbo may like the attention, but by Christ every supporter that watches him fuels the behaviour because that’s what we want to see.

It takes all kinds to make the spectacle of football what it is. Some are flamboyant and outgoing to the point where they are considered [censored] by some, others are reserved and contained and go about their game with military precision.

Fact is, there are two very happy people with a piece of MFC memorabilia that will be a talking point for many years, from one of our most spectacular players

I agree his is an attention [censored] but i also beleive that he is a figure of greatness that the kids, maybe even some here, looked upto while growing up. He isn't the worst role model in the league.

GOOD ON HIM... i love robbo... id give him a 10 year contact i dont care if u think he is lazy selfish or watever...

this is why people love him.... he is not an ego maniac... but he loves the attention and to have a good time...

he not only promotes the mfc but the afl with his playing style and antics.... good for the game..

Yeah, it should have been about saying goodbye to Bizzell, Brown and Pickett...as soon as I saw Robbo take the boots off and head towards the fence I took that

as a new meaning for the definition "hanging up the boots".

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week. WAYNE RUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS No Ollie, Chin, Riv today, but Rick & Spargs turned up and McDonald was there in casual attire.     A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
