Nick Gill, who was on our list in 02 but didn't didnt play a game for us is back in 07 for the Crows. Just goes to show some people will never give up on their AFL dream. Good on him!!!

i think back then he had attitude problems.. was too lazy to train, too skinny and i think thats why he only lasted a year on our list

it is frustrating that we did have him, but he's only come good now at adelaide... but not much you can do about it except be happy that he's made it...

he's the worst kick for goal ive ever seen from an afl player

He's shocking, but no way, Ty Zantuck has him covered:

Not exactly "doing well" at Adelaide....

More so, making up the numbers with Hentschel out!!!

Will be delisted after this season..... If not offered as trade bait....

You heard it first!

The man is a worse kick than Simon Godfrey and Ty Zantucks illigitimate child!!!

How he gets a game before Jericho is beyond me...

Good point.

I think Adelaide are just seeing what he's got before the seasons end, so they can decide whether to de-list him or not

Just another example of the mfc getting rid of players eg jolly, simmons, bassett, poyas, bishop etc ect but keep players like ward godfrey etc etc.

There will never be a flag while this continues to happen.

I am a fan of ccm with the recruiting of young kids but lets have a look at the list management and compare.

Gill also went to the Roos (or some other Club), and didn't get a game there either.

I think Gill's is a great story, but I hardly see how this has anything to do with why we haven't had a flag.

ridiculous post. jolly is a second string ruckman at a successful club. he wanted to leave. we had a choice, him or white. i still think we made the better decision.

bishop wanted to leave to go home. he was a reasonable player but never a star.

simmonds has been good, but we lost him because he wanted to go and be first ruck elsewhere...

poyas? has poyas ever excelled on an afl list???

nick gill played for us 5 years ago. should we have kept him? would keeping him have meant we havnt had the draft picks to get bartram last year?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
