Sub for intro to Binman's Stats Files Pod

Not bad stemster, not bad at all

On first blush, I'm not sure about the mega pump up at the start (self aggrandisement is not really my style - id probaly go with a bit more self depreciation vibe).

I like how you've mixed in Andy's voice.

Let me sit with it for a few days and have a few listens and I'll provide some more considered feedback.

Big thanks for the work and effort

@binman hehe 'On first blush... a bit more self deprecation vibe' etc.

Funny... you a typical Aussie modest male mate, who we appreciate and who offers much :) Onya

Good idea to sit with this for some days... maybe we here change out the copy to remove the radio announcer's "best" bit or change up the words to be more self deprecating? And into Andy's voice to fill in the details. That may sound/land more comfortably.

Thx again for your feedback. You obviously get the point the sub is to suggest DL Pods have their own individual potential feel/vibe.

Let us know what the masters think, and or any change you suggest in copy or arrangements.

Best

Go Dees!

In true self deprecating fashion, maybe we could introduce some binnie influenced segments:

How’s It Bin?: A general weekly review title.

Where’s He Bin?: for missing-in-action players.

Long Time No Bin: covers players making a long-awaited comeback.

"Top bins" is officially in the Oxford English Dictionary to describe a goal in the top corner.

The Bin-ishers: A play on "the finishers."

Get in the Bin: Ideal for a "hot takes" or "room 101" style segment where you "bin" bad refereeing or poor performances.

The Binbag Brigade: A self-deprecating name for pundits with "trash" opinions.

Bin It or Win It: A segment-based title where you decide if a team’s performance was good or garbage.

Straight to the Sin Bin: focuses on the "dark arts" of football and controversy.

Thanks for the laugh and suggestions IHW. Just for fun your suggestions kick in @ around the 00:18 mark of uploaded file. These would obviously be chopped up where applicable if landing (pun intended).

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
