and type in who u reckon we will beat

Well, we SHOULD win 7, with the only loss coming today. We are a better side, at full strength, then 7 of those 8 teams.

Posted

If we beat Collingwood, Richmond, Essendon and Carlton I'll be thrilled.

The other games are 50-50 at best, and the result will once again depend on the length of our injury list.

Could scrape in against Richmond, but we could be 0 /16 just as easily. More optimistically (but why be optimistic?) we could win 3. Either way, who really cares

Kangaroos, Richmond, Carlton and Brisbane. Players that are injured will return. Players underdone will improve.

well i though 5-3 for the first 8 games and we're 0-8.

soooo, 3-5!!!! come on 8-8 with push for top 4!

Why is there no option for 0 wins? <_<

And I didn't mention 'tanking' ;)

Me too......

Exactly what I was thinking

i think we are the most optimisitc fans ever for a team who is 0-8. the spread is pretty even around 4 of the next 8, and about the same have predicted we'll win all 8 as have predicted we'll win 0. nice little bell curve, but its hard to believe we're so optimistic, reading alot of the rest of the site. most people think its not the injuries, but the only difference bettween the next 8 and the previous 8 will be personal on board and a lack of confidence that comes with not winning a game...

Hopefully ND has the team set for the next seven weeks.

In all honesty anything is possible. It just takes one win. You'd have to think McLean, Rivers and Robbo weren't risked against the Eagles for that very reason.

C'arn Dees. DO SOMETHING!

Posted

we'll beat the roos. we will.

i'll go f98765 mental party untill the following sunday, because i've seen the boys show commitment and passion to notch up the first win. and from there, who knows!

It all depends on whether Sautner's playing or not.

Thats because i kmew that melbourne were gonna win

how many of the next 5 will they win now?

If we dont start to string the next few together, i can see the club making some selection changes in order to prepare for the future. This will hamper our ability to win games against quality opposition later in the year.

If we start to win a few in a row, and we start to make up some ground on the 8, the dees will go full tilt and try and win every quarter of everygame later in the year, in the hope that they can sneak into 8th place.

My guess is 4 of the next 8.

we should start preparing for the upcoming years now. We still have question marks with our spine, and we have several players reaching the 30 mark. We have a great group of talented players and i don't want to see them suffer like neita has. We need the priority pick and a high pick, because with it, it will solve the problems our team has.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
