Patrick Cripps FREE to play

Recommended Posts

Just now, John Crow Batty said:

“The finding was unreasonable and did not comply with the requirements of procedural fairness,” said the appeals board chairman Murray Kellman.

What the hell does that mean?

The finding accepted both players were contesting the ball, but then went on to say Cripps should have acted differently...

The finding was flawed

Can't say he was acting within the rules and then say... but... wasn't....

Tribunal error

There can no longer be any doubt The AFL is a corrupt organisation.

They should offer workshops to The Bandidos, Comancheros  et el to improve their corporate performance.

[censored] me ! Why stop there, go international - I'm sure the generals in Myanmar could learn a thing or two from the experts!

This is now beyond a joke. The AFL is  a powerful  billion dollar organisation. Surely there need to be some sort of judicial enquiry into their governance.

This is what tipped you off? Of all things?

Anyone who has gone remotely close to them in corporate Melbourne knows it. Its a milk bar being run by your uncle's best mates ' mates and the boys. Truthfully the entire industry is a house of cards that rests on 4 very large invoices

Precedent set

Precedent has now been set -

No it hasn't. No decision made by the tribunal in this Gillon era sets any precedent, no matter how ludicrous. The next similar case goes the other way.

There is no such thing as precedent in the AFL tribunal system. It's a roll of the dice, every time, dressed up in judicial legalese claptrap.

Took the words right out of my mouth corruption is alive and well in the AFL, they really want them to play finals these corrupt dogs.

All the ammunition we need lets just send them packing the good old fashioned way on the MCG.

I think you are missing the point.

I am sure they have found he contested, not bumped.

Paddy Ryder who stood still and had a player run into him and get whiplash, copped two weeks.

He should sue.

This is probably the worst part of it all. The person who should get off doesn’t. The two who should bar gotten suspended in Cripps and Rioli get off. .

There needs to be an uprising. Enough is enough and we are merely puppets on a string.

I agree with this. I've been p*ssed off with the game of AFL for years and have several times stated that the only reason I continue to follow is because of my irrational attachment to the MFC.

I don't even like watching a lot of game, sometimes even when we're in them, because of ll the throwing, umpires choosing which subset of rules they'll apply each week, etc etc.

Of course our magnificent flag has rejuvenated my enthusiasm.

But let's face it, overall, the game is [censored]ed.

Whatever Nev.

Whatever I or anyone else said, you would think the complete opposite.

I don’t recall the Ryder incident, what year was this?

Thanks
