We don't have many picks thats for sure.

I imagine that the harder it is to break into our team, the more trading of players we will see as players wanting more game time might seek transfers elsewhere..

Is he that good that you think he would go first round.

If Brayshaw goes we will get end of first round pick, shame he is worth more but we can't complain to much that is what hawthorn got for buddy.

One of the hottest starters on the day, Brown looked like making a menace of himself in midfield. The bottom-aged Melbourne father-son prospect has enjoyed a solid start to his NAB League career and that continued on Saturday, as he drove the Chargers forward with bursts of speed and his sharp left-foot kicking. While that touch of polish could be added, Brown has shown some nice signs as a hard-at-it player who can carve his way forward.

In just his second NAB League outing, the bottom-aged Melbourne father-son candidate topped his side’s disposal chart with 25, including four scoring shots. After a steady start, he began to come to prominence with in-and-under work at the contest, producing second and third efforts aplenty to help will the ball out. He also provided a good deal of drive in the second half, bursting forward and kicking a clutch goal to draw level in the final quarter. That touch of polish is something Brown can refine going forward, though his effort was evident.

One for Melbourne fans to watch as a potential father-son candidate, Brown (son of Nathan), produced some exciting moments in his NAB League debut. The hard-at-it midfielder got a run through the engine room and also impacted up forward, snaring two goals from 17 disposals and four inside 50s. Both of Brown’s majors were fair efforts, particularly the second term snap which he seemed pretty pleased with. Still a bottom-ager, there’s some exciting traits to work with.

I think we will use 32 and 41. 41 maybe on Emile-Brennan. We will have 2 first round picks for Jackson 8 (Dunkley trade) and 11 ( Lobb trade) would be best case scenarios can't see West Coast geting in on the act and if Bedford goes pick 22 will hopefully suffice. If he stays we won't be using an extra pick.

I predict 8,11, 32 and 41 (for Emile- Brennan). Hopefully Collingwood are up for a future first rounder if not it has to be pick 22 for Bedford. Can't see us getting any lower.

    GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond

    It's Game Day and the Demons once again open the round of football with their annual clash against Richmond on ANZAC Eve. The Tigers, coached by former Dees champion and Premiership assistant coach Adem Yze have a plethora of stars missing due to injury but beware the wounded Tiger. The Dees will have to be switched on tonight. A win will keep them in the hunt for the Top 4 whilst a loss could see them fall out of the 8 for the first time since 2020.

    OOZEE by The Oracle

    There’s a touch of irony in the fact that Adem Yze played his first game for Melbourne in Round 13, 1995 against the club he now coaches. For that game, he wore the number 44 guernsey and got six touches in a game the team won by 11 points.  The man whose first name was often misspelled, soon changed to the number 13 and it turned out lucky for him. He became a highly revered Demon with a record of 271 games during which his presence was acknowledged by the fans with the chant of “Oozee” wh
