Discussion on recent allegations about the use of illicit drugs in football is forbidden
  • IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Posting unsubstantiated rumours on this website is strictly forbidden.

Demonland has made the difficult decision to not permit this platform to be used to discuss & debate the off-field issues relating to the Melbourne Football Club including matters currently being litigated between the Club & former Board members, board elections, the issue of illicit drugs in footy, the culture at the club & the personal issues & allegations against some of our players & officials ...

We do not take these issues & this decision lightly & of course we believe that these serious matters affecting the club we love & are so passionate about are worthy of discussion & debate & I wish we could provide a place where these matters can be discussed in a civil & respectful manner.

However these discussions unfortunately invariably devolve into areas that may be defamatory, libelous, spread unsubstantiated rumours & can effect the mental health of those involved. Even discussion & debate of known facts or media reports can lead to finger pointing, blame & personal attacks.

The repercussion is that these discussions can open this website, it’s owners & it’s users to legal action & may result in this website being forced to shutdown.

Our moderating team are all volunteers & cannot moderate the forum 24/7 & as a consequence problematic content that contravenes our rules & standards may go unnoticed for some time before it can be removed.

We reserve the right to delete posts that offend against our above policy & indeed, to ban posters who are repeat offenders or who breach our code of conduct.

WE HAVE BUILT A FANTASTIC ONLINE COMMUNITY AT DEMONLAND OVER THE PAST 23 YEARS & WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE CLUB WE LOVE & ARE SO PASSIONATE ABOUT.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding. Go Dees.

I used Regent Gallery (Plenty Rd, Preston) - the bloke there did a great job on my Hingrito print. A2 size, black timer frame, was $100. Had it mounted, as opposed to adhered to the backing (print is on thick card), which maybe is why it was a tad more expensive than what some mates paid to get their Knight posters done. Very good quality, so was happy.

He sells lots of AFL stuff, so will no doubt have frames in stock.

Thanks for the tip, will head there tomorrow. Looks great

all i have received from both Melbourne and afl orders are delay notices :(

i ordered a t-shirt from mfc,

was supposed to arrive last week. but got a notice it has been further delayed.

scarf keyring and hat from afl.

not a note yesterday saying they haven't forgotten me. but it will be a while before i get my order...

I was told last night that the club ordered 6,000 t/shirts before the GF and they have received orders for 11,000 so they have had to scour the nation to fill the orders, it's been difficult and I can understand that they have had problems.

They have also been told by the AFL that they have received more orders for MFC stuff than they did when the Tiges won their first flag, the sleeping giant.

One can just see those workers in China and Bangladesh saying to each other...

Probably ordered blanks from oseas without the print . Printing Ts before result is risky business . They  couldnt estimate the demand . As blanks they could be on sold  if we had not won.. Like rest of world supply chain from Asia is cooked . So they are looking for 5000  blank ts within Australia . Good luck on that.

I suggested to one of the committee that we should have a Demons Picnic Rug and he thought it was a great idea and would look in to it. I can't believe we have cheese platters, cheese boards and no picnic rug.

What about picnic baskets, knee rugs and a glass to keep your false teeth in overnight

Oh, I like this. I like this very much.

On the merch front, I ordered the premier's Guernsey, Mark Knight stubby holder and Premier's beanie. Was told they'd all be shipped together in Dec because of the Guernsey pre-order. Saw others had received their Guernsey, sent an email and was told the beanie was delayed but they'd send out the others.

Currently somewhere in the great AusPost black hole but I'm sure it'll arrive

I can't believe I have still have received nothing.
Todays the last day of the second time i've received the -  delivery expected "within these 5 days window" notification tracking that Aus Post sends you.
It annoys me to no end that Auspost are slower than a scomo vaccine rollout.

I could have walked into the AFL shop today, purchased the same items and had them in my hands, instead they are still sitting in sunshine west sorting facility and have been since Monday 25th Oct after they finally picked up the order from the club on the 14th of October.  Aus post's incompetence is mind boggling.

Me to FB what the hell is going on with AP, ordered 2 pairs of New Balance runners last Monday and they arrived today delivered by AP.????

I didn’t think about that but I like it. I was actually going to have a bet with mates who go for the opposition team we’re playing. If we win, I was going to make them kneel down and kiss the ring.

Now they can kiss it, then I’ll back hand slap them and leave and imprint on there cheek.

(Booked in to get my ink done on the 30th btw).

Update: I haven’t chickened out, just been away with work. Back end of next week then have two weeks off and will be getting it done then. T-shirts still available.

Aust post have screwed me around too, their tracking history states they had my order on the 22/10 at their Sunshine West facility, in transit to their Somerton facility the next day (23/10), 9 days later on the 2/11 it states waiting to be processed, today I finally get the message that it’s in transit to Eltham and I’ll receive it today, it didn’t arrive and now it shows that it’s in transit to Broadmeadows and I can expect delivery in 4-9 days. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤬😭

Edit: I’m more disappointed in the messages I’ve received from Aus post rather than the delay, first message stated it was delayed and if I hadn’t received it by Monday 8/11 then “I should“ chase them up and find out what’s happening with it? Then I get told I’ll receive it today and haven’t heard anything else from them, I’ve had to look it up only to read it’s now going to be another 4-9 days. 😓

Oh well, I’ve waited this long for a Melbourne flag. ❤️💙❤️💙😂

Walked past the AFL Store and saw this "Deemolition" t-shirt in the window and couldn't resist buying it!

Here is an image of what the t-shirt looks like: AF10584S_7e73aa57-d079-4b2f-b930-8cf16f4

I love the 1990's retro Demons mascot image. It brings back a lot of fond memories growing up. I used to have the exact same 1990's retro Demons mascot image on a jumper/sweater that I wore as a kid. 😁

GO DEMONS!!!

I got one of these as well $44 bucks worth from A.F.L shop Fountain Gate, but check sizes as they are a small fit.Im usually an extra large but needed a 2XL, and you wouldnt say im overweight! They are rolling out the Demon clobber, with lots of good stuff albeit expensive.

Do you know what's the difference between the victory pack and the regular premiership DVD? There's a significant price difference but I've checked a couple websites and there's no details about what extra content they have.

    DEPTH CHARGE by Whispering Jack

The jubilation on the coach’s face as he danced a celebratory jig by the playing bench after the final siren sounded to record his team’s four-point victory over the Demons when the teams last met, said it all.    On that rainy Friday night at the Adelaide Oval, Ken Hinkley’s young midfield secured much more than four points on offer. The victory over one of the big dogs of the competition after a succession of wins over some of its lesser lights gave his team respect and validation fo

    HIBERNATING by KC from Casey

When they locked up the rooms for summer at the end of last year’s football season, the rooms gathered cobwebs, the atmosphere became dense and the place developed a sleepy feel. They opened up the rooms to let Casey out to play on Sunday but the team was still hibernating and they missed the bulk of the opening quarter. By the time they worked out it was game on, their opponents from Box Hill had accumulated five goals and, if the game wasn’t over, it might as well have been. For a se

A FORK IN THE HAWK by George on the Outer

For too long in the past, Demon fans became habitually sick and tired of watching the Hawks hand out thrashings to their side. But Melbourne’s empahtic 55-point win at the MCG on Saturday has truly put a fork in the Hawk and turned that history well and truly on its head. The Demons have now won nine of their last ten encounters with the other result, a draw.     And like a fork, it was the multi-pronged options that Melbourne had all across the ground.  It certainly helped that Hawthorn
