I reckon a massive game looms for Petracca. Has been good for the last 6 weeks and if it were not for some poor finishing would have some big hauls. I can see him kicking 4-5 goals with some dominant stints on ball. He will relish the big crowd at the G.

I cant believe how many people forgive and accept Petracca's faults. He is uncoachable. He cannot concentrate. He NEVER comes through when the going is tough,although trying hard, he is stupid and trying to do too much. He falls immediately to old bad habits.

Petracca’s statistically had his worst six weeks since his first six games for the club four years ago. He’s averaging just 70 SuperCoach points and has kicked a paltry 10 goals from 11 games as a permanent forward line player. Those are horrible returns. 

It’s amazing how divorced from reality our supporters (and the media) can be when it comes to this player. He’s either a chronic underperformer or simply not that good. I think it’s probably somewhere in between. 

The similarities with Colin Sylvia’s career path are eerily similar.

To kick 4 goals he would need 40 shots on goal.

I would rather Spargo a late OUT and Billy In, who, whilst hasn't been all that impressive is a much better option than Spargo! 

Also, I reckon Clarry won't play, Maggies to win in that case!

Collingwood are a much better team at the moment, even though they havent been at their best for a couple of weeks.

We have been nowhere near our best all year. Our in's, although very good players, wont be at their peak after a while out of the game.

Supercoach stats aren't very meaningful in explaining whether a forward is playing well. Petracca's pressure is good, he wins the ball in tight and uses the ball well. The onlys thing letting him down has been our overall ability to move the ball quickly in the first 8-9 rounds, which is getting much better, and his finishing which I think will click today. Dees!

I still hope Petracca plays well. We just dont give the ANB JKH types who try hard and follow instruction (generally) the latitude that "talented" players who screw up get.

Playing Cox is a mistake in my opinion. He is not a natural footballer and needed to get some touch after 6 weeks out. 

Cox will kick at least three. We should have played Preuss. None of our players can match up on this height except Maxy and he has other jobs to do.

Yes. Today will be another underwhelming output. Might win the odd one on one and maybe a cameo but thats about it.

Most AFL and even VFL forwards can apply pressure. It’s a bare minimum requirement. If you’re a forward you’ve also got to kick goals. As mid sized forward in particular you must also manufacture goals from half chances and opportunism.

Its unacceptable and frankly amazing he’s not been dropped to Casey in that time.

Problem with that is that no one that we could choose from would be a better option for his role. I’ve been ok with Tracs year so far in a forgettable season for all except Maxy Gawn.

Last 4 games he is averaging 20 possession, 9 contested, 1 goal, 5 marks, 5 inside 50’s and 7 score involvements.

You must really have it in for him as you are getting facts get in the way of your pure bias against him.
