Sydney loves to run over the mark .... got away with it all day against us.

Nice to see them humiliated as they exit

Masters of the 9m kick (awarded as mark), cribbing over the mark, and invading the "protected zone".

All should be picked up by the umps, but the umps are useless, so Syd take advantage. Die Sydney!

Frankenstein really relies on great delivery.  Cut out their mids and he is bloody near useless.

How many more years on his 99 year lease?  Looks past it really, and not particularly interested.

Four more years and he's nearly 32

Zac Jones nothing like his brother - faux tough with cheap snipes but doesn’t put his head over the ball when it counts.

Yes, ours is cheap tough with faux snipes and counts his balls over his head when .... oh never mind.

GO OUR JONES BROTHER!!!

Damn it, Sydney just managed to score more goals than Weideman.

He's young and raw. Cut him a break.

OMG that song ?

Surely more than sufficient reason that they should never ever play a GF.

Blloody awful.

Please people. For the sake of your health, watch with the sound off.

I am hoping the Giants get through to Richmond, the belt the daylights out of each other, before the winner loses the GF to us.

I think Richmond would have their measure.. GWS need space.. Have been to see them play a few sides and if you can crowd them thus stopping the run and give they are susceptible.

It's an interesting discussion re this evening's game as to who has the better chance of knocking off Richmond in the Prelim thus giving us the chance at the holy grail.

Fending  off with the foot must be outlawed immediately

So dangerous and, as Gillon might  say, not good for “the image of the game”.

How embarrassing were the Swans?  4.6.30 losing to 10.19.79.  WOW! 10 scoring shots to 29.

So, two recent AFL 'heavyweights' now out of the finals race.

Up to us to eliminate the remaining 'heavyweight' next week.  Very confident we will get the job done.

That's the story of this Finals series IMO. The changing of the guard.

Geelong, Hawthorn, Sydney give way to Richmond, Melbourne, GWS.

Agreed.

It’s just not a good look - particularly with studded boots.

Wow a minutes silence for Travis Varcoe’s Sister and he is standing there dead still.

Heavy stuff.

Obviously feel for Varcoe, hope he goes well.

Would we rather play West Coast over there again or Pies at the G (if we get past the Hawks)? I’m thinking Pies at the G. Kennedy and Darling (playing a full game) is a scary prospect.

I am ok playing WC in a prelim (If we are lucky enough to get to prelim). A road trip with the group we have holds no fears.

In some ways I would almost prefer that to ours at G (aside from not being able to see it live).

They’d have to get it down to them first.

Pies out in straight sets would be pleasant also.

West Coke on top ATM, Pies need their guns to start firing excluding Pendlebury

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
