Wayne’s had one too many nose beers.

He knows nothing about football Ethan.

I only pay attention to the big hitters.

it'll be adelaide's pick 8 plus x, y,  z for pick 1 so that the crows can lock in lukosius

That sounds closer to the mark.

Pick 8 and Eddie (just kidding) Greenwood or similar

Not even Stephen Silvagni  (who  is probably the wort list manager in the AFL) would give up Pick 1 unless he got back a Hogan or Petracca.

Hogan, Petracca ,Oliver,Viney, Brayshaw and Gawn are all worth more than pick one

That's not gonna happen.

Would you? It stands as a terrible deal for both teams. The team that finished last brings in three start-up top 22 players that won't make them much better, and lose a top 1 pick.

Melbourne lose experience and depth for an unproven kid.

Or on-trades pick #1 for an A grader.

Dylan Sheil anyone?

Carey didn't want that or even Gaff to go for pick 1. He thought his idea was better.

Why would Sheil or Gaff want to go to Carlton?

Exactly.

We aren't getting pick 1.

I think Tyson would be a great fit for the Blues, but it will be for a second round pick. Not the #1.

Carlton currently has these draft picks: 1, 23, 26, 73

Dees currently have: 31, 44, 49 and 85.

Hopefully we can pick up that pick 23 or 26 for Tyson.

Essendon would be a good fit too... they have pick 27.

Didn't you hear Carlton want Carey as head of recruiting

Is Harry McKay worth an offer?

What's the story with Harry McKay?

Not getting a game with Carlton. Anyone have any intel on him?

Not for us.

We already have Hogan, T.Mac, Weideman and T.Smith.

He should be getting a game he is better than half their list. Bolton has no idea.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
