What are these [censored] Free kicks for??

The 50’s are for players running in the protected area. They are being stupidly tight on the rule but we had a few paid like this last year but not 5 in a game. The Hawks game last year comes to kind, a few 50’s for trivial infringements.

The encroachment of the mark is RED HOT.  Dees need to pay attention to this rule of the week - we cant be giving the [censored] 50 m for nothing.

I don't think our players watch other games because we invariably do whatever is the infringement of the week the next day.

You'd think because we play predominantly on Sundays we'd have plenty of time to figure out the rule of the week.

Passing on Curnow is Jason Taylor’s first mistake.

He went at pick 12 and even Carlton took him with their third pick of the draft.

Players develop beyond expectation, it happens.  It wasn't Taylor’s first miss and it won’t be his last.

He has his own rule book ?

It’s something we need to get used to the stars have different rules, how many times does Martin either get someone high in a fend off or drop the ball when tackled, it happens a lot I hope the players are ready for duckwood on Sunday will be frustrating watching his frees

Who else did he miss?  I thought we were into Curnow until his convenient misdemeanour...

He’s missed plenty- it’s not a precise science.

Salem over Cripps/Crouch

JKH over Darcy B-J

Brayshaw over Lever

Stretch over McGovern

Who washed Carlton’s shorts?

Looks like the white shorts got washed with the blue guernseys...back in the old days when colours ran in the wash.

And what's with the reflective bum-cheek highlights? I [censored] hate Carlton...wankers!

Great first half, but it lost all of its appeal in the second half. Carlton couldn’t hold it together and gave the ball away far too easiy, while Richmond couldn’t kick to save themselves and showed glaring holes in their defence. Couldn’t take much away from that game in terms of indicators for the rest of the season from either team.

What this game said to me ...tigers won the premiership with a very soft draw & an injury free list ...take one player out of their side ...Dustin Martin....& they are gone !!! Also apply that to Essendon & remove Daniher & the same scenario occurs ...I am not going to mention the name of the player that Melb  could ill afford to lose ...(he is very tall), however very confident we cover all other positions ...Go Dees

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
