I don't think it is. He puts the burners on and bombs it into the forward line, always the hotspot in front of the goal square. That is as quick ball movement as you can get and leaves the opposition backline exposed.

We haven't had Hogan and Hunt in form in conjunction with each other yet. When that clicks watch out.

he too often either mis-kicks or takes the wrong option after a big run. needs to learn to steady down first before kicking and take best option, and yes sometimes the big bomb is the best option but often it is not

he needs to practice his kicking after a full speed spurt

Hunt often bombs long to the hot spot in front of the goal square at an angle from the wing. It doesn't help his kicking efficiency stats but is does bring the ball quickly into the forward line and help our scoring.

Hunt kicked what should be goal of the year from the wing after the siren with a perfectly crafted torpedo. Poor kicks simply can't do that.

Poor disposal from Hunt is the biggest myth on demonland.

Parallel universe.   The runs look great but uhtil there is consistent reliable targetting all they are is spectacular. He needs finals standard disposal. I dont care about the torp goal. Once in a lifetime and doesn't win games.

Once in a lifetime? He is 1 from 1.

He has finals standard disposal. Did you happen to watch any of of the finals? I saw game after game littered with poor disposal and waiting for a game breaker.

He was making a concerted effort towards the end of the year, even some times too much of an effort. But that's good, they are teaching him and he's trying. 

The other thing that was clear at the end of the year was he was tired. He was fumbling ground balls because he wasn't sure of his legs ability to get him out of trouble. Plus he was the only one still running. More players running and the decision making becomes a lot easier, and the miss kicks land in space and get picked up by someone else anyway. Prime example was Dusty Martin bombing it long to a richmond player v Dangerfield turning it over on the weekend. Both are players who can butcher it pretty frequently but one had more time and space to run in to and kick in to.

Ever player should be trying to improve in ever way they can. But Hunt being a poor kick at full pace or otherwise is the biggest myth on Demonland.

like i said, i wouldn't use the word poor, just inconsistent especially at top speed. you can often see he just doesn't take that little pause before kicking so it is often rushed and hit or miss. nothing a little training can't fix

Definitely needs work, I was just expanding on that saying it appears he was working on it and if he gets more help from his team mates it will be less of an issue.
