How good is that commentary of AFL Nation?  And how poor is Dill's brother?

Also, take a look at the footy smarts of Jeffy.  Had to position himself the best while at the same time read Jack's mind.  His (Jeffy) inclusion this week is big.

Gold, Gold, Gold!!!

We should all feel a tad guilty though, we partly contributed to his injured hamstring by watching it over and over.

Melbourne Footy, the person who uploads these videos, deserves lots of kudos for this.  Constantly uploads great stuff to YouTube after every win and I've watched some of them countless times.  Not sure if he/she posts here but, if they do, thanks very much for your quality uploads each and every week!

I like the pointing to the goals by Trac once he realised Watts no longer had the option to give it off. Basically saying this is your moment Jack!

Also, thanks to the ump that paid the holding the ball against Sidebottom on defensive 50 and mistakenly gave the ball to Tyson to take the kick. As it turned out the turnover from Tyson led to that brilliant goal.

Frost and ANB were the tacklers yet Tyson ended up with the kick somehow.

The perfect script. Thanks for posting these. Hey Pies fans, revenge is a dish best  kicked from 30 with one minute to go by JW.

Love them all, but the 3AW one is my favorite. Just love the "on tired legs" part, captures it well after he'd just busted his ass running all the way from center half back to get on the end of it.

What a memorable moment for Jack and the club, this time for the right reasons!

I know the 3AW commentary off by heart - I still get such a thrill watching this footage. I seriously don't think I will ever forget that day.

agreed........but to be fair (not sure why with ch7) tv commentating is very different to radio where the commentators have to try and paint a picture.

It's more a lack of atmosphere dc

The Crowd atmos is at a much lower level on the TV ? So we don't ever miss a word of the benal commentary Ch 7 dishes up

Awesome post!  Id forgotten how much I enjoyed that moment. Let hope there is more of such moments to go this season. With all the injuries the optimism of that day feels a bit of a distant memory.

A big 'thank you' to Brendan for uploading a delightful smorgasbord of that one wonderful highlight.

As luck would have it, I am heading out to dinner at a Filth supporting household tonight - any tips on how I can put these clips on perpetual loop (especially the last  shot of Taylor 'Big Mouth' Adams on his haunches looking completely rooted)

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
