Sorry guys but any coach who keeps playing Bugg in the forward 50 after his last few weeks (and in preference to Stretch!!), and his continued horrid form in front of the sticks in that first half, is NOT WORTHY of the title.... AFL Coach.

We will go nowhere under this spud of a coach.  I'm out guys... Enjoy the ensuing vomit pre - match

I'm done caring. Thanks for 2017, it's been another waste of $400 and countless hours spent watching a bunch of spuds.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me for 20 years, shame on me.

Post of the year. Even if by a miracle we win......what an average team.

This is Essendon Round 2 2016 level of effort.

You just know they came out with big heads and are deservedly paying the price.

Dees vs Saints - took a while to get going, but we played good footy

Dees vs Blues - We didn't play well, but won.

Dees vs Cats - Injuries sure, but we couldn't take our chances

Dees vs Freo - Pathetic all game

Dees vs Tigs - Injuries again, but another game we should've but couldn't win

Dess vs Bombers - Didn't play well but still got the win. Dons were tired.

Dees vs Hawks - Pathetic start, and didn't get much better

Dees vs Crows - Cannot compute

Dees vs North - didn't played 1st or 3rd quarters

Dees vs Suns - Pathetic all game.

Of all 10 games so far, we have been better than ok in just 2 of them. The entire football department has to be put on notice. We have produced a pathetic season so far, and have undone all of the progress we had made under Paul Roos. Our W/L record and % flatters us way too much, We are not even a shadow of last years team.

Possibly. I am genuinely shocked that the old lazy attitude STILL prevails...

If we continue to lose this game, no more mollycoddling, swing the axe.

Players don't care. Not saying he's blameless but you can't coach heart

" Gold Coast have scored seven of their goals from intercepts today. "

Gee, that sounds awfully familiar......

Problem is, the person swinging the axe doesn't appear to have much of a clue either.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
