Hello all.

My 20 year old daughter has a Provisional MCC membership and wants me to go to the Hawks game and use her membership for the first time.

I have no idea how it works, nor does she, so i am after some advice please.

I will obviously need a guest pass and i see on the MCC site she can buy a couple of those. Question is how does she do that, and what is the process. I have not been to a game in a long time and it would be a really big deal for her to be able to take her old man to the MCC members for the first time. Would be a big deal for me as well to be honest. I have not seen a live game for years and have never been near the MCC members.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ticketek mate, punch her member number in the mcc section. email yourself the tickets and print.

they make it pretty easy. Or just go to the window at gate 2 on game day, it wont be a sellout.

Hi Ding,

Buying the ticket in advance is probably your only option, because the membership cards have photo id you won't be able to "borrow" hers.

ALSO remember if you are going into the MCC members they do require you to wear a shirt with a collar.  They are strict on it and I often see people being refused entry.  A polo shirt is fine BTW

Also Ding, when you get to the ground, get your daughter to go to the ticket window to the left of the members entrance and ask for a balcony pass if any are still available. This lets you sit on level 2 or 3 (my favourite is level 3). Otherwise you're restricted to level 1 or 4, still OK but 2 or 3 better.

The queues on game day can be quite large so best to do it online and print off ticket at home.

Does she need to buy a ticket for herself online as well?

That's fine Ding. As long as the curry paste doesn't repeat..

Thanks Salem, but i meant that she wanted me to go with her, as her guest, and not me just going alone and using her card.

Free, they are all gone for this game, but I don't think they are offered to provisional members anyways.

If you want you can buy reserved seats which cost $10 for her and about $35 for you, entry included

Not at all, would be viewed favourably as retro-cool.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
