I've been to the last two capitulations against Carlton.  Two of the worst games played by the MFC in recent memory.  I hope that this is a complete smashing.

I count at least 17 blokes from that game will run out this week. Let's see how much we have improved in mindset from last year. We had finals as a possibility entering that game and we were insipid.

I hope they spend alot of time looking at that game. It needs to be drumed into them what happens when they don't bring any pressure. I said last year our most important win was Port Adelaide after playing so hard against the Hawks and this is a similar situation. We put alot into that Saints game, now the big challange is backing it up.

How can one forget....

the weeks leading up to this game were so enjoyable as we all played the percentage games. Sure we knew we had Geelong at Kardinia Park in the last round and therefore we needed some luck but to have the dream snuffed out by losing the unloseable game against a club that had gone nine straight losses .... words still elude me.

Looking forward to this week as I fully expect a comfortable win.... but of course it is Melbourne

Nearly the angriest I have been at the footy in recent memory (with the game against Essendon and previous year's loss to Carlton a close second)...

Not the way it works - they do look at positives and negatives in the review but as a lead up they always show really positive vision. The blokes know what happens when you drop intensity by 5% or 10% - they don't need to be shown ( that doesn't mean that they don't need to be verbally reminded of what happens when you don't bring your best effort but showing but you dont need to waste time showing what second to the ball looks like)

haha I know it doesnt really work that way, but it makes me feel better to think they are focusing on what they need to improve on in those repeated wasted opportunities
