I think he will get fined

Saint Nick should get looked at for his treatment of Smith.

Put his full weight down on the shoulder, no wonder it popped.

Nothing in it with Vince, though the morons will probably give him a week or fine.

What's stopping a player wacking a someone in the back of the head if you only got a fine?

MRP will claim it had some force because the st kilda player carried on after the hit.

Only seen it once quickly but it didn't look like an elbow as some have said. More like a wrap of arm around the head - not that defends a silly act.

These things always look worse when replayed in slow mo but I doubt whether the Vince incident is worthy of action by the MRP.

I just saw Jack Ziebell give Josh Kennedy a whack to the back of the head but it was also low impact and I doubt there will be any action taken with that one either.

Alex Rance v Watts 2016 is what's stopping it

would be pretty surprised if this was more than a fine

If Vince gets done by the mrp for a week or so then it will be interesting to see what they will do with Casboult from Carlton. His incident was worse than Vinces.

Will go for 2 but for an early plea will get one. He never seems to learn unfortunately, as he has done this before!

Cmon Bernie!!

Agree, if anything he should get done for stupidity

Browns clumsy open hand but forceful slap into Watts face halfway thru the 1st should be cited before Vince.

I saw it as a deliberate hit off the ball.  wasnt too much strength to it but I would think he'd get a week as it was a cheap shot

pretty poor from Vince who was great on Sat otherwise

Making my way through the game now, I've just seen Melksham run into Membrey's head whilst Membrey was bending over for the ball.

Could get a look at from the MRP, I think.

ahahahaha. Silliest thing I have read today. It was a free kick. Not a bump. Cmon mate

Err Rance elbowed Watts who was prostrate on the ground.

Bernie collected him with the soft part of his forearm. It wasn't a swinging motion but a glancing motion.

But given the MRPs consistency -  10 weeks at a minimum.

Intentional and off the ball which isnt very good, but it also wasn't all that hard. I'd say 1 down to fine with a plea.

Therein lies the problem. The MRP hate intentional off the ball incidents. Plus the St Kilda player went down like a sack of spuds which won't help Bernard.

He'll either get 3 down to 2 or 2 down to 1.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
