Watching 'all the goals' on the club site, I was interested to note the high number of goals that Pedo had a direct hand in. About 5 or 6 from my calculations.

Not bad for...... a depth player :cool:

How good and unselfish was his handball off to Hannan. I liked the little head nod backwards and Pedders saying "go go" just before the handball off. Full of confidence.

Just found his page and got this joke.  Brilliant.

Reckon his photo has a few filters on it as well.  That sounds about right.

Thought ANB had a direct hand in a fair few of the goals. Not bad for a VFL player.

Anyone want to update that stat on games won with him in the side vs games won with him not in the side? It's my favourite running stat going around.

The man is all heart. Amazing last quarter from him. Best thing to ever come out of North Melbourne!

Never thought I'd find someone who hates North more than me. It almost makes me shed a tear...

Amazing that he's still on our list. There was years of outrage when he was signed on for three years initially.

He has been emmense this year and McDonald aside, was a match winner in the last quarter.

My friends and I have a footy chat going on FB. It's been going for a good 4 years. We all barrack for different teams, but we all barrack against North. In fact that name of the chat is "he who beats North last wins"

I thought this was a funny headline from Brad Scott after losing a close game against the Dogs. While we were battling our way through the umps to a victory, Brad was cooking up his newest whinging excuse for not winning.

Gysberts and Neeld have eventually contributed to our club after all. Pederson was a straight swap for Gysberts, and was drafted under Neeld and given a 3 year contract most thought was laughable.

You don't beat Adelaide and West Coast at home worrying about the umpires.

I said on the match day thread that we needed more from Pedders for the last quarter and boy did he deliver. In a game where WC had dominated the contested marks, Cams big pack mark and goal was as big a momentum swing you could hope for.

He was big at the end, I know Weids had an excellent game vs Box Hill but until Pederson puts in multiple bad games I hope Weids is forced to continue to dominate teams at VFL level.

Cam is doing his job and has earned his spot.

I just noticed after Pedersons big mark and goal he tapped a black arm band (he was the only one wearing one). Is anyone able to shed some light on that?

I thought he did sweet FA for the first three quarters.  Was starting to ponder how we were going to get Hogan and Watts in, and Weid's good form in the VFL...

Then he put me in my place.  That was a massive last quarter effort.

And for a long while I felt his former team mate who often dominates us would have the last laugh but no .....

Just love how he manages to regularly split a pack to take a big, telling mark.

Has a heart bigger than his rrrse, which is saying something...

That kick to Tom would make Travis Johnstone proud. As well weighted a kick as you'll ever see. Brilliant last quarter.

Is very cool under pressure and doesn't fumble.  His gather while running in the last quarter when it looked for a moment that it will spill and hibberds precise kick to the top of square under pressure were examples of the things that win you right games

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
