Those fawning over Braysure's every word are starting to look a bit silly now.

Why?. He actually said Hibberd would probably become a Dee when he tried his second alias.

Our 2016 2nd rounder for Hibberd will be a reasonable result.  Essendon may be interested in a player like ANB, their inside midfield could do with a boost - 2nd last for both clearances and contested possessions, might be a later pick swap in their favour required.  Those hoping to pay less will be disappointed.

No-one is fawning over him, simply pointing out he was right and those who questioned his input were wrong.

I wouldn't clear ANB.

I'm absolutely positive that essedon will ask for a lot more than that.

Why did the Hibberd thread get merged with this one? Hurley is no longer relevant.

Because there was two concurrent threads going on the same topic.  Not sure how the software picked the title, but the OP is P_Man's post from the original "Michael Hibberd" thread.  I don't see "Michael Hibberd and Michael Hurley" a massive difference to "Michael Hibberd", especially when everyone had all but stopped talking about Hurley.

Braysure was a troll who would offer an Essendon point of view to every discussion he participated in.  Hurley singing at Essendon is Braysure fluking a guess at what was going to happen amongst all his other incoherent ravings.  In fact, as Hurley was always favoured to stay at Essendon, it's hardly a commendable piece of guesswork.

And he chopped and changed his mind on Hibbert regularly, finally claiming he would laugh in all our faces.

Some claimed he was 100% right, which is easy to do when you hedge your bets.

KC from Casey has started a Michael Hibberd thread.

I think that in the event that we do complete a trade, it would be a good idea that we continue the tradition of welcoming new players to the club with their own dedicated thread.

Since, Hurley's now out of the picture, I believe this read should now end and we concentrate on one player.

Well if I'd known you were going to do that, I'd have just closed the 'Hurley and Hibberd' thread instead of merging it with the existing 'Hibberd' thread.  Booooo.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
