No one else deserves a vote. And Garlett only gets one because he kicked a couple which is his role.

Wow, goes to show what a performance it was. Kennedy was phenomenal but Vince and Jones were below par, Garlett was fumbly and Tyson and Matt Jones were poor.

Gawn, Pedersen, Hogan, Garland, Watts, Brayshaw and Kent all had 10 touches or less. Thanks for showing up lads.

6: Kennedy - the only winner for the day

5: Vince - was ok

4: N. Jones - as above

3: Garlett - with a whopping 6 touches, but at least was dangerous

2: Tyson - wasn't horrible

1: I literally cannot justify giving any of the rest a vote

6 - Kennedy - just want to give him votes. I don't want to think about the rest.

5 - N. Jones - why wasn't he in the midfield the whole game.

4 - Vince -

3 - Garlett

2 - M. jones

-6: Garland - just wow, looked comically out of his depth today and hasn't played any good footy in years

-5: Hogan - someone needs to have a serious word in his ear

-4: Kent and Brayshaw - for not even showing up (especially Kent)

-3: TMac - set the tone with a classic "TMac" in the opening minutes

-2: Bugg - horrible

-1: Salem and VDB - not our worst, but both capable of so much more

Honourable mentions to the old Matty Jones, Watts and Gawn.

and tyson, m jones, vince, and n jones offered NOTHING in terms of impact on the play. they were all very poor today other than kennedy and to a lesser extent garlett.

Kennedy (Two weeks in a row has shown good value and already more consistent than Jeremy Who)

N. Jones tried all day

Garlett. Kicked a couple (one special) that's his job.

Tyson stuck with it.

Matt Jones. Yes a couple of shockers but presented all day ( Wasn't the only one guilty of shockers)

Pedo myths. Competed well in the ruck. A couple of good grabs. Always full effort when his limited opportunities came.

All apart from Kennedy and Vince are lucky that you have to award the votes.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
