Even if you don't like the white one, I think we can all agree that it is at least better than that freakin' Power Rangers one the Hawks wore last year.

In all honesty Dr if we win the grand final I wont even notice what jumper we are wearing.

However I would not worry about it in 2016 perhaps 2018 /9 it might be a problem.

Of course but it happened with the Saints in 2010. They would have changed to their traditional guernsey after the game and pre-ceremony. Pretty annoying when the players just want to celebrate.

Again Dr it is a problem that I will have no trouble dealing with on GF day.

I don't even want to think about that. It would probably give me nightmares.

You are missing the point MD it is about selling extra jumpers not about the Design as such.

The Hawks could sell one with a road kill hawk on it.

That speaks to the fanaticism of the Hawks supporters. But it is still one fugly jumper.

True. But it would be interesting to see how many of the Power Ranger ones they sold compared to other versions they had in past years.

But talking about our clash jumpers, I haven't minded most of them. Wasn't a huge fan of that grey one circa 2007 though.

are you referring to the blazer, od?

There was only one person on the planet whose eye loved that dc and we know what happened to him.

By comparison the Hawks jumper is a work of art that should be hanging in the Louvre.

you mean the one where some guy was out wearing a white shirt had a little too much to drink, vomited on it looked down and went "hey you know what we could use this for!"

Because fortunately we never played in that crap and the effect on our minds  was evident.

AS well dc I don't believe I have ever said was the only consideration just the only one that matters over the next year or two.

This is quite amazing we almost made it to April before the clash jumper subject raise it's head.

I don't care what we wear when we are winning.

For me it is the winning not the clash jumper that counts.

Gday OD! Thought you may have taken too many bex or something after 4 in a row

From what I read and hear about AFL players in the off season dc I think it might be a little late.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
