Like it.

Hard to judge how good it really is, as I would have still been embarrassed by the same ad over the past decade. I guess it comes down to the level of respect your team demands from others.

But again, I like it.

It is so Melbourne!

Every major icon of this city features: Trams, Fed Sq, Flinders St Station, Alleys, City skyline, MCG.

All strongly, fronted by a Red and Blue jumper!!

We want to identify with Melbourne the City.  This ad does it!

Thumbs up from me!

They need a longer beat between 'two colours beat' and 'red and blue' as it sounds a little like 'two colours beat red and blue'. Oh, and it doesn't make much sense either way.

I like PJ's continual alignment with the City of Melbourne. The ad is contemporary and should appeal to younger supporters with whom our future lies. I love the larger than life screen shots on iconic Melbourne buildings. The heart beats in the final seconds gives it substance and carries on the theme from 2015. I would have preferred a better defined MCG - recognition of our relationship and our spiritual home but overall my score 9.5.

The City of Melbourne and The MFC continue to join

The ad is a little quick and disjointed but it is on the right track...We need to own the city

It can be done...

Looks good.  Also appears to be deliberately trying to target potential female members by including the women's team.

Males are allowed to like and follow the women's team too.

Not saying they aren't or don't. Just noticed it as a point of difference from other teams' marketing.

Like so much of what we're doing at the moment (as compared to the past) it isn't rubbish or cringeworthy but contemporary. I'm really proud of our club at the moment on so many fronts, and I think this ad is broadly appealing as well.

I went to white night this year and missed all those projected images. Go figure?

Have I missed something? I saw a 2 second grab of Daisey Pearce?

I think it is terrific. Loved the subtle use of Daisy 9ie just another player and in the same shot as Jones).

The only negative - and it is a pretty big one - is that it uses a Derwayne sample.

Love it ??

We finally stand for something, AFL supporter have forgotten that this is our city. We my not have the biggest supporter base but we represent this great city.

We are Melbourne!!

Like it.
Succinct and to the point. Thumbs up.

Like it. Have liked every element of the rebranding of the club, including the inclusions of the women's team.

Bad-ass P-man? It's like a police advert for RBT's.

Thanks. Now that's all I'm going to see when I watch it.

It's pretty gritty. Like a police ad. Makes it seem like we're lurking in the night and ready to pounce. It's professional looking at least and it ties us to the city but interestingly doesn't show the MCG

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
