Disgusting to think that anyone could be involved with these organisations.

Undortunately, the problem doesn't seem to be going away as Richmond already have over 55,000 members.

Clarrie  Grimmet and Max Gawn aside, they have done little for Australia except freeload.

They are a cheap and whiny bunch at best but for a 3rd world country they sure can Rugby.

Much the same as the French

Be careful with that wish. Having sailed the Med a few times and sampled more than a few of the wines and a few of the locals, I can tell you that the quality of both varies tremendously.

I am a man of excesses so that will not be a problem but thank you for the sage advice

Reckon he and Toby would go alright handling our player contract negotiations

How many horses heads in the bed would it take to get Jesse to sign for 10 years?

If they need backup they can get that chap who shot at Terry Bailey's house.

Gee, we're a judgemental lot. In the past we've had wife bashing and machete attacks. Captains knocking off other peoples wives, gamblers, drug addicts, dressing as paedophiles, embezzlers, you name it! He who casts the first stone...

I don't what's happened to me recently, I think I am losing my mind Biff. I think a long sabbatical in a Mediterranean climate, with some good wine and local girl may be the answer.

I thought Rum was your favourite tippel Ernest?

I heard a Richmond official on SEN this morning saying Dustin was at a low ebb over this and they were helping him through this period.

Is there ever a period that they are not helping him through?

He must consume more of their time than the over 39 on their list.

This may come as a shock Ernest but I have not read  all of your books  as they are so depressing I have stopped trying.

The MFC of the last 50 years has provided me with all the depression I can handle.

Can you make a come back and write something cheerful?

Fathers should be role models for their sons. However having seen that inglorious photo one see that this is not always possible and can understand how difficult it would be for his son to ring him up and say "dad, can you give me any good advice as to how I can best conduct myself in public?"

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
