The photos i have seen of Dom at training he seems to have put fair bit of muscle mass?

Tyson looks to have added a bit more muscle to his frame.

I'm expecting him to have a quality season!

Yes very excited about Dom..  was brilliant in 2014, and although he had some what of a down season last year his stats still stacked up well with anyone at the MFC.   If he has shaken his knee niggle he should go to the next level.

The photo shoot last year was bog ordinary too.

If some of those shots are classified as 'the best' of the many photos taken of the players then there must be some absolute  stinkers amongst them.

The photography is alright but why is nobody instructing the players on facial expressions and whatnot? Why would you even photograph Dom making such a dumb expression?

Yeah, at least for the photo shoots, they really should be wearing a size too small so they're tight on their chests.

Actually, it's the crossing of the arms that looks the most ridiculous. It's the least intimidating and flattering position that anyone can stand in.

When I saw him at training last Friday, he appeared to have grown a little bit - either that or he was standing tall, confident in his fitter state with the knee injury behind him. I could be wrong on that but the way he was moving suggested to me that he's in for a good year.

Guess I didn't win the competition to get my photo taken with the boys this year then....

I didn't win the competition but I was given this as a birthday gift from my husband ( he won it at a silent auction) ..... great fun. I scored a seat between Paul Roos and Bernie. My daughter sat between Nathan and Clayton Oliver. It was great, over very quickly but the players were very friendly and gracious considering how many times they had to smile. There were at least 50 groups going through - some sponsors and large groups but plenty of small groups as well.

It was well organised and I would highly recommend it if anyone gets the opportunity.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
