Full contact training is a necessity at times & in our case we need to make sure the soft is well & truly pushed out.  If we had of lost a player for the next 2 weeks 'sore',  then its worth it to instill the hardness that's required & been missing in the red & blue for such big chunks of years,   since Smith the Red-Fox got tossed on his ear..

 

so I hear you fear of losing a player to injury thru rough contact at training...    I say so what,   sow toughness,  is what.

No problem with losing a player 'sore' for 2 weeks (though I'd still rather not). The big problem is losing our CHB for the year when he needs a shoulder reco.

at the time of posting it wasn't mentioned that the arm was pinned.  see my responses in that vain of TMac just being buried aggressively...  bit pinning arms & driving down is not what i;'m talking about.

Trengove is not "The Heart of the Club"

if he hadn't broken down he would be wearing Yellow & Black. 

We the Generational Supporters are the Heart & Soul of the club. 

Players are Well Paid employees...

Yes, we had a trade on the table that would've seen us get Pick 14 for Trengove. Yes, it fell through. Yes, we re-signed him after the trade fell through. Now he's on his way to recovery and still contracted to us despite once being on the trading block. Anything else?

We get it. Trengove was once on the trade table and almost went to Richmond. He didn't. He's worked hard to get himself into the position that he's in today WITH THE MFC, and if he can get back on the field there is no doubt that he will give the club a lift that few others could. 

This thread is about supporting Trengove as he clears each hurdle and tries to get back onto the field. He's a young player who has given everything that he can to this club, and it finally seems that he's in a position to get back to business after a very serious injury that it would have taken an incredible amount of resilience to recover from. If he does get back to full fitness, I can assure you that he will leave no stone unturned to ensure that he gets the best out of himself in the remainder of his career; he's just that type of character.

I beg to differ GTG the thread was created to establish where JT was with his rehab.

It was not created so JT could read it and get encouragement which is what I think you are suggesting above.

Poor wording, but if you highlight that entire sentence you'll get a better idea of what I mean. "Supporting Trengove as he clears each hurdle and tries to get back onto the field" is essentially the point of this thread, though I suppose you could replace the word "supporting" with "updating supporters about". Either way, it's not about going on and on incessantly about how he almost became a Tiger, something that everybody already knows.
