It was a mistake drafting him. Leaving him on the list for another 2 years would be another mistake. I believe he can be a solid player for another club, but he's never going to the reach the heights we'd expect him to for such an investment.

Not as impassioned as his assessment of Cale Morton. A lock to be a superstar.

Everyone here quite rightly thinks Angus Brayshaw is a lock to be, at the very least, a very good player for us long term.

Cale in his first year averaged more kicks than Angus, more handballs , >5 more disposals per game, and the same number of goals + goal assists and twice as many marks. The bloke was a 192cm running machine

I don't think anyone could have predicted how Cale's footy story would unfold after that 2008 season.

Sad to say it but I think the Toumpas experiment might come to an end this trade week. I wish him well if he leaves.

As for Cale Morton, I remember talking to Garry Lyon at a function in 2009. Gaz was telling me how good he was, and that he would be our best player in a few years...

Cale ended up being a monumental disappointment but most on here and at the Club thought he would have a pretty exciting future after his debut season. It is rewriting history to pretend otherwise

the only real interest outside the MFC that interests him seems to be the PAFC, who have pick 28 on the table for him

The issue they're going to have is that the Suns won't accept pick 10 alone for Charlie Dixon so they may need to add 28 to that to get it over the line, and hope we'd accept Andrew Moore for the Toump

Seems that Toump will be retained. There is not enough interest in him to get us something we think is even in return. Interesting to see if Toump wants a trade and then we have to do it.

You tried so hard sometimes too hard and gave everything you had for the red and blue.

Will always be one of my favourite players.
