Send Roos and Jackson a very very positive email!

Start despairing that it now means we will lose to GWS as we NEVER! win two in a row. Which in turn means we won't break our Etihad hoodoo.

Wear a veil of positivity.

We just have to have "positivity" all over it. Imagine a **Demon crowd with veil of positivity at Etihad** in the final round!

If we beat Freo I will...

...be actually the most shocked I have ever been.

No player on our list who has only ever played for Melbourne has *ever* won in Perth. Can you believe that? That means that of our entire list, only H, Vince and Cross (maybe Pederson?) have won there.

Now there is the perfect example

We have not even won the first leg and you are despairing about the next leg.

Get your mind into gear Gorgoroth.

But then you do suffer from the additional affliction of following the Rams.

So I will let you off just this once.

Jeff Garlett (with a record of 5-3) and Chris Dawes have. Pedersen hasn't.

Finally realize that I know nothing about football.

I have suspected it from time to time. (Door open)

Not a ridiculous proposition that we couldn't push them.

Why?

1. Fyfe out

2. Players owe Roos and supporters to play like maniacs and angry

3. Freo aren't a quick team

4. They are thinking 2 weeks ahead and may be in mild preservation mode.

But as many here know, we have to play quarter 1 like the last one we will ever play.

Honestly, call for an investigation into Freo.

And since my main 'negativity' is about how the players think it is ok to only play when they feel like it... I'm not sure I'll be all that impressed.

If we win, twats like Mark Fine will say:

In classical Drew Morphett mode - "Gee with, no wonder Melbourne supporters get frustrated......wooden spooners beat them one day, then they beat top of the ladder team the next."

Paul Garden-Knome will say:

"I told you we should have aimed higher"

Roosy will say:

"Unlike the supporters, we as a coaching group don't get too excited with these wins, nor do we get too depressed about the losses"

A lot of those depressed and irrational on Demonology (sic) will be ringing ticketek to book finals tickets

Actually, if we won it would be awesome if everyone wore their jumper/scarf/hat/beanie to work.

(PS. I'm unemployed...)

Wear a veil of positivity.

Are those garments are made of crepe or rice paper, as far as us MFC supporters are concerned?

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits. I apologize for skipping our annual season review show at the end of last season. After a disapponting season filled with off-field antics and a heated trade week, I needed a break. Thankfully, the offseason has recharged me, and I’m back—ready t
